Maybe Grape, if your voice is that high....

Seriously, though, please do audition for whoever's still left. Just not King. He's mine. :P

I aactually haven't heard my voice recorded in awhile, so for all I know, it might not be high anymore... Though I'd love to have a major part like Grape!

Edit: I just noticed something... Grape's voice must be low enough for Peanut to not know she was a girl, so my normal voice might be perfect!

Well, Ebly would prefer not to cast a male in Grape's role, but we don't have ANY auditions for her yet, female or otherwise, so.... *shrugs* You might give it a shot if you think it'll be that good. :) (I would audition for other characters as well, though....)

YES! :D Finally found time to record! You should be getting the file soon, Ebly.

I have not been on the forums for a long time due to personal problems, so sorry in advance.

I got an email notification about this and right now I am in the middle of doing a few voice auditions for other stuff, so I might give this a shot. I just hope I can hide my british accent.

It isn't up yet by a long road--not every character has been cast yet. In particular we have a disturbing lack of female presence so far.

I could try for Grape. I have a deep voice for a girl.
And I've just got a new clear mic. Plus I've got a lot of free time now that I'm bored half the time so it's something fun and interesting to take part in! Whoop!

Oh hey, I was thinking about something like this! I would really like to try out for a part, even if my voice is a bit bland in my opinion. Can I get a basic guideline for what the audition file should be like, length, stereo/mono, frequency, etc? (I use audacity by the way)

The best way to do it would be to pick a comic strip with the character you want to perform as, and read that character's lines. If anymore is needed, Ebly will give you a heads-up.

Yeeeeah, and Brawler will be taking pictures and signing autographs later, for his honorary inclusion in the dictionary under the word 'smooth'.

But, there's still Fox to decide on... The waring Spos, if that wasn't resolved... And Rex... And the ferrets... And the wolves... And every single female character ever... And the Mr.Bigglesworths... And Pete... And Mr. and Mrs. Sandwich... And Fiddler... And... Well, since I think only about 10 parts HAVE been given out so far, there's still a lot of room for auditions, yes.

Ok, forgive me for coming in very late, but that last but one post was very encouraging XD

Can I audition for roles, and if so how?
Can I hear the current finalised voices as well? I'm British, so if everyone else has an American accent or something I'll need to put on more of a voice. I don't want one character just sounding really posh

But anyway, yeah, just let me know the details please ^^

Well, what you can do is record yourself reading the character you want from one of the strips. Ebly's the final say on it, but you can send it to me, and I'll keep it for when he comes back. Also, I wouldn't worry about having a British accent, as we've got a couple others auditioning who are British.

Though I personally don't think I have much of an accent when I used to do voice acting and a furcadia dream radio people often said they could tell I'm English. xD

HOW WILL WE DO IT?

Post by Anthroguy101 »

British Accents can be used on either Pete, King or both since that's how I see them.

The main thing I want to ask, though, is when and who is actually going to start doing this? Also, how and where is this going to be posted? What social network would let us do such a thing? Any suggestions?
