Also, what did King mean about "granting asylum" thing?
King means that if Pete comes back that he wants the Ferrets to basically keep him away from Pete by letting him stay with them instead of sending him back to live with Pete.

Edit: I am the Page King!

I'd love to live with the wolves, myself.
I have one thing that I just have to say, hopefully this'll mean more of the woof pups! Yay! Maybe they'll even get names. ;)

asylum from Pete.
Funny that King asked for shelter from the very one being who could turn him back into a human... :?
Meybe, being a dog is not that bad, after all, eh, corgi?
...Didn't the 'Dragon' say sh...it say it could change King back, but the Kitsune was all like no.

I don't think it matters much either way, from a practical point of view, but law students tend to ignore the practical side to complicate ourselves with the way everything's written down.
Guess this answers my doubts.
Also, for some reason I like the "battle damaged" look King has.

As The Great Kitsune stated, RULES want that Pete himself performs such act of magic.

"She" is correct. Pete referred to Dragon as a she.

Getting alittle off topic, but kinda xD Didn't expect what happen in that last panel. I was thinking something along the lines of asking for the wolves to eat him xD

There, now for the off topic. Kinda as in, the game will be in the same universe, I believe it's 300 years before Kotor 1, When the sith and jedi were everywhere. But it's not a number 3 cause it's going to be an MMORPG, like World of Warcraft. It's called Star Wars: The Old Republic, and the wiki page for it with more info is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars: ... d_Republic

Oh where to begin.

I will just say the entire cast needs to be viciously hugged; and start dissecting the comic.

Is Fox still hanging around, or has he meandered off? Same question with Miles. How many 'prospects' have the ferrets thrown to the wolves, pun not intended?

All this and more. :p

One reason why I love Housepets! in general is because each update, Rick manages to be random, in one way or another. *loves random*

Two more strips and we get to the point where every character was at least once suspected to be Kit's avatar.

Sabrina has to be the Kitsune's avatar! She has yellow eyes like him, and in the strip when Tarot talks to Peanut in his head, in the background of her talking you can see she is with Sabrina! It has to be a connection! In fact... My Avatar IS her in that picture, in the background with Tarot xD

The kitsune's eyes are red though. That leads me to beleive the kitsune's avatar is kevin, since kevin seems to be the only character with red eyes and has a position with authority on the feild. mabye?

It's likely that the Great Kitsune, apparently acting as game master, wouldn't control a player character. That entity's role would be more of an observer in this scenario, I think.

But the fact that both of their eyes are red doesn't mean much because Tarots are yellow and Dragons are green it would only mean something if Kitsune was in control of him at the time. What I'm more interested in is who is Pete going to get as an Avatar? Because really King is out of the question for him.

Who Pete takes IMO really depends on what he wants to do at this point. It could be Fox if he wants to keep an eye on King and anger him as well. It could be Maxwell if he wants to keep an eye on Dragon and see what she's doing. Or It could be Bino if he wants to gain some sort of influence in the neighborhood.

This idea doesn't seem to be too popular around here. Everyone's speculating about his or her avatar, but I agree with you. Great Kitsune probably doesn't have one.

Today's comic made me think. I wonder if Miles' cubs are going to turn into a Calvin's uncle situation where it's hard to have the other characters address them without using names.

Also, as a good arc is brought to an end, bring on the one-offs! Woo!

Well, let's not forget that there are multiple cubs, and the point is that they don't HAVE names yet (plus they have names they want for themselves anyway)....

Watterson over-complained about that; you don't actually NEED to address the person you're talking to that much and can still sound natural

But their names are Deathaxe and Space-Lazer!

I can vouch for that--I never use people's names when I'm talking directly to them.

And Watterson over-complained about a lot of things.
