It usually goes without saying that tails are for being cute. That doesn't really count as "using" since that's their default purpose! :P

Can also be used to get smack. I now want to see Peanut wake up Grape by pulling her tail xD

I believe that was in a fan made comic.

You haven't seen that comic yet? It's all in the bonus page of Housepets, search for the link on the homepage. There are some really cool comics.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that the tail could be used for balance? :P
Though, when you think about it, tails on any anthro would be useless, because they're anthro. >.> If anything it would throw one off balance. XD Wouldn't it?

A tail can be used to determine an animals emotions, I guess.

Wagging = happy, etc.

I am a little late maybe but that whole part about the cosmic D&D game had me a little lost. I mean, I understood what was going on for the most part but I kinda felt like... Oh lawd what's gonna happen to the characters I love. Also it reminded me of Lost.

These aren't necessarily bad things though! It was just kind of... woah.

Also, the wolf pups are adorable. Looking forward to see how King handles living with the pack.

I have no idea how you consider JJ contorted... I'd ask your reasons why but I wouldn't want to waste space in this thread with unrelated jabber.

Though I disagree with your viewpoint of JJ, I do agree that it is good that Rick didn't make this comic that serious over time. Sure, it's cool to see this new development, but it would be awkward if it slowly shifted into something too serious.
Don't get me wrong, I love the whole cosmic D&D thing.

I am proud to be a nonbeliever.
(I also detest Flash Forward: Am I more nonbeliever enough?)

My preferences (as far as US/UK shows go) go for the CSIs, the Law & Orders, Mental, House MD, Dexter, The Practice, Blind Justice, Shark, Lie to Me, Rescue Me, the Stargates, Nurse Jackie, Scrubs, UFO, Space 1999, the Addams Family (The Original!), Star Trek TOS and VOY, Grey's Anatomy, Futurama, Family Guy, The Prisoner (original and current remake), Bottom, Coupling, Father Ted, from the Earth to the Moon, Ally McBeal, Police Squad, Rome, Terminator TSCC, Monty Python Flying Circus, the twilight Zone (the original!), Sleepwalker Project, Raising the Bar, Quincy, Happy Days, That '70s Show, Twin Peaks
And then there are the documentaries and the anime...

Correct. Anthropomorphs don't really need tails for balance. Though humans do have a disproportionate amount of fat back there which serves a similar function, so it's entirely possible that animals who walk upright might still have animal proportions, making tails less useless. Sir Mixalot is probably not a furry, then. :P

FlashForward is dumb. Lost was great when it came to the characters rather than the plot.
Also, high fives for Twin Peaks. Not enough fans of it, really.

Yes, the cuteness tails can create is very worthwhile.

The people demand more Grape! Seriously, it's been a few arcs ago that she got any real mention (the slot in the party was good, but pretty minimal). And how about some more of the Fido story? Wait! Both characters were shown at the party! Is this a sign of some clever forshadowing, placed subtlely in the middle of the latest arc to catch out unsuspecting readers? And does this, in turn, link to the newest arc? And was the Roswell case a cover-up and was JFK's assassination planned and is Bigfoot a myth and *breaks into extremely fast gibberish*

Perhaps I'm being a little paranoid.

*hums to the famous Black Sabbath riff*

Anyone else curious as to what the second reward will be for King?

Also, was his first reward a new owner, the statue or something else ....?

Clearly the first reward was being owned by the Ferrets/Living with the wolves (technically the first reward was more like the ability to live basically on his own again, well as much as he can being a dog and everything) since it made up for what Pete did to him and makes sure he isn't left out in the street. As for the second one I would say the chance to become human again because I really can't think of anything else it could be and plus it comes at the end of the game.

I´m sure in the end King doesn´t want to be human anymore, if he gets the choice.

Another thing that was in my mind, was that I always recognize his shortness, for example when he is the tiniest thing on the table. That brave little guy, I would have totally gone like "wtf halp D:"^^

Aaand I wanna see a scene where he gets angry, tries to attack another dog(maybe bino?) and is being held back just with the arm. Hope you understand what I mean :/
