I am back fore real and permanently and I will try to get in track to the RPs I was in (and those that want me back), but my ability to check the RPs will resume this Sunday, due to me being in my village and enjoying the hard work. (In other words I have just a few hours free each day)

A short version of whats happened in Apollo City since you left does not exist.
What can be said is that the moon base is gone, and everyone has been evacuated.
Now your character can find 2 groups. Group 1 is Ashe, Dust, and Caerulius, in the park.
Group 2 is Rosie and a new character named "Vi", at the burger joint.
Hinata and Kelly are at the theater, Orion, Avery, and John are in a limousine, on their way to the sanctuary.

Hi there everybody! I won't be able to post from later today until Tuesday bc I'm going to my cousin's wedding! Plus I'll be sightseeing around northern California since I've never been up there and we have family/friends who've been waiting around six years for us to travel up. So...too much fun irl for rp. Back when I was a youngling, there was a tornado warning. My parents stuck us in the bathroom and went out, because it was a small bathroom. They scared us to death, and there was no tornado. Nowadays, Tornado warning? Let's play Halo!

Well, that cyclone was pretty tame, comparatively speaking. Dropped a few branches but that's it. So I get to keep my internet and power. Yay!

Okay did anyone else have a INSANE amount of trouble connecting to this website last night? Because I couldn't connect at all.

That was this morning for me, I think, and it did seem down. Neither Crux nor I could get on either. It wasn't just you.

I admit I haven't actually looked through the current neighborhoods to see if any of them fits what I'm talking about, but—How realistic are the realistic ones?

I'm thinking of stuff like, for example—

1) People actually have kids. (EDIT: By which I mean, humans actually have human children, which is something we don't really see in Babylon Gardens.)

2) Declawing is a thing - I've thought up a character who has trouble gripping things because his previous owners declawed him.

3) As we know from All the King's Men,

King had always found the practice of pets referring to their masters’ as their parents a little weird. He certainly didn’t think of Pete as his dad, but Fox had also said that not every pet did it either. It was reserved for those relationships that were more parent/child than ruling overlord/terrified subject.

I'm going to suggest the practice to be tied to those people who in real life call their pets their 'children', which isn't everyone. Here, in what I'm thinking of, we thus won't have as much of the 'Mom'/'Dad' thing.

4) There may be leash laws where people aren't willing to look the other way like the zoo was... So no loophole exploitation.

5) Delusional Steve is just at a no-kill shelter. Like real life, there are also pounds that euthanise the animals.

Well, from what I understand, almost all of the RPs labelled PF or Pet Friendly are similar in nature to Babylon Garden bar some minor differences. I can't really vouch for all the RPs because I only follow those that I participate in, but here is what I can surmise from them:

1) Yes, people do have kids, though I haven't really seen any child NPCs or characters just yet.

2) I think a pet could be declawed, either by choice or order.

3) Some RPs specifically have laws that explicitly states that the relationship is more of a 'parent/child' one, even to the extent of giving the pets some basic rights like not requiring a leash and right to buy stuff from stores. These rules more often than not don't apply to ferals though, like in Sunset Plateau.

4) See 3.

5) This will not happen, even if characters in backstories could die. There's a strict rule against death in the RPs here, and even explicit and excessive injuries, unless explicitly stated.

All in all, you should read the first post of each RP thread in the OOC page to get the settings, and look for the one that suits your character and your vision the best.

Um, I have one. Angelina, Jessie's owner's kid in Applegate. Looking back your character hasn't met her, so I can understand.
