Thanks, HI! Now I'll send it to the voice cast so recording and editing can start. :D

EDIT: I left messages on the involved actors' CastingCall profiles.

I've added a few new parts to the Casting Call project, fixed some typos, and added tonal guidelines to some ongoing parts.

Hey, guys. i temporarily removed my audition, sadly. I appreciate the votes, but I was certain last night i could've performed Maxwell alot better than that.

I got my laptop fixed last night and a good spot to beg like a sad cat trying to impress his girlfriend =P

I'll reaudition tonight :)

I'll record some more auditions, probably Monday. but I'll only post them if I can make them sound convincingly different from my Marvin since I already got that role.

When I read the comic, I tend to have Tiger and Marvin sound the same anyway though not because I think they are. I don't have many voices I can use in my head.

I actually have the same scenario with Max and Bino. Hence, why i also wanna voice the both of them. :3

I think of Bino's voice as a more aggressive voice of Max's. Now I think of Joey as Jaleel White's Urkel.

I guess that since I got a part, I won't record anymore auditions except for King, because some people thought I would sound good as him...

Submitted my audition for Pete, Fido, and Max. Had a lot of fun with Pete and Max's lines.

Gotta say though, Fido had a pretty odd selection of example lines. I feel like I coulda done better with more or different lines but it's cool. :)

Well Cxukay, I believe that you can audition for as many roles you want and can get more than one.

You should always try out for multiple roles because you never know what people might think is good in, plus it's just plain fun to do voice acting. :D

Well people are suggesting that Bino should go next because he was the second dog introduced in the comic.

recorded auditions for Max and Fido (would have tried for Pete but one of the auditions already submitted is much better suited for him than anything I could do)

personally I think my Max was the better of the two. also, I would have used this strip as one of the audition lines

That would have been a very good strip to use since it has drama and comedy in it.

I have to agree as well. Bino had a lot of good audition choices. Maxwell's audition choices were a bit meh with the exception of the last one.

EDIT: And this one :3

I think that the final say would be with GK because he was the one that set it up.

Though if you don't like his decision, you can always trap him in a jello Pokeball.

That wouldn't be a problem. The number of lines you record won't affect the likelihood of your getting the part, but if you feel the example lines aren't enough feel free to record any extra lines.

I uploaded my audition for Max, I may do a re-take later. Let me know what you guys think!

BTW, would it be cheating to alter my recording of Pete's laugh? Because, you know, he's meant to have some otherworldy vibe to his voice when his text bubble changes black.

Do the laugh with just your voice. We want to see your natural capabilities. You're being brought on as voice actor not a sound engineer. That'll be someone else's job ;)

Submitted the extra lines that were recommended by Brent. I also recorded the lines recommended by Cobra, but I'm not sure if I should post it because then I would have 3 submissions for Max's voice.

Hey guys.
I'm 17 now, and my dad's in his 50's. I don't have a job or a drivers license, and my dad has been working a full job and a part time job to cover 4 kids.
So, I need to start applying my time to start helping out with bills and stuff (as a personal choice). This means that I'm most likely not going to have time to work on this project. Sorry, I know I was the only animator who was going to help, but I just don't think I have the time to work on this anymore. Especially if I was going to be the only artist and animator.

I'll help in whatever way I can, but I'm just going to have to drop out of the project now.
I wish you luck on your future endeavors on this project and I hope you find a replacement animator soon.

Sorry to hear that man, sounds super rough. It's understandable, and super kind of you to take up that responsibility for your family. :( Hope it goes well for you.

EDIT: Know what, I don't wanna see this project fall. If ya can't do it right now buddy, I'll fill in for ya! I can take a brake on some game projects for a bit and work on animating. You're making some sacrifices, it's only fair that I should too. Maybe one day you'll be able to start animating for the project again :D . So if it's okay with you and the others, I'd like to fill in for Neon, at least until he has the time to come back (if he can).
