so I played trivial pursuit today. the point, if you don't know, is to answer trivia questions and earn little pieces of plastic of different colors that are shaped like pieces of pie. one of the colors is pink. so many times, I had to answer a question to get pink pie.

guess where my brother's and my mind went. ^_^

Kind of a retread, Rainbow's ego issues aren't anything new, but it was cute watching her friends go to all that trouble to show her.

Yeah, it was. Although, the more I think about it, the less I find myself liking the episode...I'm afraid to say it, but this might be the first episode of the show I am disappointed by.

Actually, watching the episode again, I notice this week's was a new writer. That makes me feel a lot better, as this new person will almost certainly get better as time goes by.

it was a nice episode. i'm afraid it was my least favorite so far, but is still ok. though i like how they brought back the pinkie sense. its amusing to think of pinkie as one with foresight.

whats up with all those disasters anyway? XD

Head shape. Stallions have a less-rounded head than mares, and are generally bigger.

i loved the Batman-esque theme during the chase
and for anyone who thinks that the plot was too obvious, remember, it's for kids

I don't get why people complain about the predictability of the plots. That's never been this show's strong point.

This episode was pretty cool. I like how Fluttershy's only contribution was the intimidate Rainbow Dash though. *giggles*

I'll be completely honest. I was hoping for the Mare Do Well to be Trixie. Oh well.

What really made this episode funny for me was that Ponyville was suddenly disaster central where some one was going to die every twelve seconds.

For the Mare do Well, I thought it was nice of them mentioning the Pinkie Sense once more. My only complaint about this episode was how RD treated Spike at the end.
edit: I now want this to be cannon old Spike...

I didn't think adult Spike was canon anyway! It's safe to say that save for peeking into the future shows, Spike will never reach adult status for good within the show's run, if based on nothing else then Hasbro wouldn't make much money off of what would be a boy's toy within a girl's toyline.
