Well, I'd go for Dr. Pepper for carbonated drinks, but it's kinda hard to find it here at my place, so I'd go with Mountain Dew. But for something not carbonated, I'd lean towards strawberry milkshakes, I'd usually get one if I wanted to cool my head or relax. For hot drinks, I'd go with rich and pure cacao, the ones made from cacao tablets and milk. It's almost like drinking fudge, but sadly, I have low tolerance for chocolate, so I'd get nosebleeds after drinking a cup of that.

Are you allergic to chocolate or what? I don't understand how you can have a low tolerance to chocolate.

We used to make this dark chocolate peanut butter milkshake thing with the Ninja Blender we had. It was good.

Ugh, I can't stand dark chocolate. It's just nasty. But, to each their own.

I agree with Deske. Dark chocolate is just bitter to me - perhaps because, of all types of chocolate, dark is the most toxic to dogs.

Dark chocolate is best chocolate, imo.

That's weird. I don't think I could drink lemon juice. Coupled with the fact that it can eat away at your insides. But who am I to judge?

Has anybody ever tried an "ade" drink besides lemonade? I know about orange and limeade but I'm sure there are more out there.

Do Gatorade and Powerade count?
Cherry limeade is really good.

Dr Pepper and Root Beer taste amazing; but ice cold passion fruit juice with water and a little sugar is amazing, that and avocado shakes. Yum.

Also consider getting mango juice that has a lot of mango in it and some club soda. Pretty good!

Not really allergies, I think it's something genetic in my family. We kinda have really really sensitive blood vessels, so things like rapid temperature change, sugar highs and chocolate gives me nosebleed. Not really sure how it works, but it just happens. XD

I got Egg Nog ice cream at Braums a day ago. It is definitely egg nog season. And gingersnap season. But that is off topic.

I really like a hot mug of peppermint tea. Finally broke my caffiene habit about a year ago.

...but I do like a hot mug of mulled apple cider as well! It goes down nicely and makes your throat tingle.

Peppermint tea is the bomb.

But some and find out. I don't really know how to explain it. It tastes like a thick milk that us sweeter and has its own flavor that isn't milk.

It's basically milk (or rum or whisky or similar) with eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. It's a thick, somewhat rich beverage, and certainly sweet. I'm a teetotal, so my description only definitely applies to non-alcoholic 'nog.

To my knowledge alcoholic is the same as regular, just with additions of whiskey or some other alcoholic beverage. Not sure.

Just imagine milk but thicker, sweeter, and spiced. It's really good.

My knowledge is the same as Sleets, regular eggnog, mix in whiskey and it becomes an alcoholic beverage, otherwise it's just egg nog.

I think, eggnog is an American thing and if I remember it right, Hlaoroo told me that it's available in Australia too. Don't know about the British...

I can speak for Germany and can tell you that there is no eggnog here. We have Eierlikör (advocaat), but that doesn't fit into the category of non-alcoholic beverage. It's usually very thick and maybe somehow comparable to eggnog, but I never tried eggnog.

This eggnog is similar to our zabaione, and exist also liquors made from it.

That's right, but this doesn't make something original from Italy also if the producers could be (I informed about). The Chinotto soft drink is really original from here, and I absolutely don't like it.

I remember when I first found out eggnog could be alcoholic. I was pretty surprised because of how young I was.

Yeah, I was saying I didn't know how said alcoholic beverages would impact flavor. I dislike rum, for example, so that'd probably ruin it for me.

I think whiskey works a bit better with egg nog, but we're kind of straying from the very clear stipulation in the thread title, so yeah...

Egg nog is delicious with or without the alcohol.
Just don't get egg nog flavoured hot chocolate mix, it's awful.

Ooh, if we're talking seasonal drinks, there was this interesting novelty drink we got from Walmart: Apple pie juice. It was Apple juice with cinnamon and vanilla flavoring - it was really good. . Can't remember exactly when we got it, though - maybe around Independence Day?

Thanks for reminding me, Sleet. I need to go out and buy some cider to mix with cinnamon and heat up in the microwave because I don't know how to make cider.

That's a totally valid strategy for cidermaking.

I used to like Orange Kool-Aide and some Capri Sun flavors.

When we get Capri Sun, I tend to guzzle it like an old car guzzles oil. Cherry is my favorite, but most of the other favors will do.
