Just got out of the shower. Its wonderful to have hot showers again instead of lukewarm showers.

Great Re-cycle In-Gathering Day today. Coordinating travel and accommodations for my nieces, nephews, and kids coming here for my brother's funeral. Interesting.

I hope all goes well, Weston. May your brother rest in peace.

Just the usual. Relaxing before work.

My life is boring.

So we had my brother's funeral today. It went very well, actually, considering it was a bit of a tango in a mine field. Richard had three wives, a son by the first and two daughters by the second, and neither divorce was very amicable. Still, everyone got along terrifically. All three live far out of state and they were children when I last saw them. We also had a good representation from his High School class, and my own two daughters made it just as well.

and, since they both just walked in the door, good night all!!

Went for a run, a few miles, not the fastest but getting a bit quicker (I'm built for short bursts I think) , I seem to be much better going downhill. Watching the Blackbirds building a nest in our hedge, they are onto the moss padding stage so nearly finished.

The skies over our yard are like something out of World War One - song birds, jays, crows, and others scrapping for nesting sights. A red-Tailed hawk who likes to hang around came by this morning - and, boy, was he sorry!! The sparrows went straight for him and chased his red-tailed fanny straight back to the woods!

Hope the cardinals get a couple of spots. We've got enough sparrows.

Getting ready for visiting relatives tomorrow. My son and his missus haven't been here since 1998 when my mother and father still lived in it.

About to watch my soap opera, take a long shower and then go to bed.

Getting some rest after our "restful" vacation.

About to make myself some dinner and settle in for the night.

Battening down the hatches for a massive rainstorm marching our way.

Taking a shower to cool off from the humidity. The tower fan thermometer I have says its 80 degrees.

Drying off .......

Zoom conferences with various church and business stuff. Man, the headache that's going to give me!!

Getting ready to go back to work for the next 5 days. Immediately after my vacation I am thrust back into having to work. All 5 days in a row and all 5 hour days. Just fun.

Yard work - the damned swollowwort is everywhere.

Trying not to die from the heat and humidity in my room as it is 82 degrees right now and I try not to run my air conditioner a lot because the tank fills up and draining it has always been a production.

Funny, that's about what I have the AC in my office set to right now, cause it's at least cooler than it is outside (and gets rid of the humidity, by dog, does it get bad here)

... and the heat's gonna be worse today, mates. Eeeeeyugg!

Had to actually DRAIN my A/C last night so that was fun and have it running now. Shut it off for a few minutes and left to go to the bathroom and then came back and it already jumped up 5 degrees.

We are gonna get a high of 90 degrees today.

Take trash to the dump day ... how fulfilling!

Had to take a CAT-scan. They didn't find a cat though.

Trying to play through some games so that I can make a review for Housebreaking Computers and Games.

Just got back from Mystic Aquarium where I spent a few hours with my family because my mother wanted to do something instead of just staying in the house. Good thing I wasn't driving because in the backseat I was going in and out of consciousness. LOL

Just got my desktop back from Best Buy aaaaaaand it works! (Hope the results are just as positive when I have my urologist conference this afternoon.)

Geezering ... it's not for sissies.

Waiting for Everspace 2 to patch and Starfield (Xbox version) to install while thinking about what to have for lunch.

Trying to catch up on everything that I missed out on while I was waiting for my new computer since my old one broke and struggling with my cold (which still lingers).

Battling a yard full of swollowwort weeds and vines.

I used to get paid to pick weeds at my old foster home. I would use my money to buy Nutty Buddy bars from the school concession cart.

Gosh, Harry, I haven't had a Nutty Buddy in decades - they were good!

Just had to drain my portable air conditioner so that it could begin to efficiently cool down my room again. It really hasn't been doing so I figured the tank must be full despite the fact that the indicator light didn't turn on to say that the tank was full. I am hoping that draining it will get it back to making the room a bit colder.

Back in the gym, doin' the ol' do-run-run-run on the treadmill. Gack!

Watching the 2 newest episodes of MasterChef that I missed last night.
