Karen, my brother Richard's widow, is coming down to visit for few hours. She's holding up pretty well, all things considered.

I'm getting ready to go back to work after the two days off I had.

Staying out of the heat and catching up on the mail.

Got a new game and I'm waiting for it's steam workshop data to load into it. The game in question is Tabletop Simulator.

Getting ready to go back to work. I was working 4 days this week but now its 3 day because my boss gave me Tuesday (my actual birthday) off.

Doing mortal combat with our newspaper delivery group. Whenever the regular delivery guy takes a break, his replacement invariably fudges up the delivery. We get three newspapers - today, we got one and that one we don't subscribe to.

Got back to the gym today - been feeling a little poorly. Came out to a hellacious rainstorm - serious wows!

Trying to combat my recurring nasal congestion.

Kind of a good question. Had a fire in the broiler oven last evening, so we'll probably need a new one. Boy, lotta drama with the smoke and the alarms screaming ... sheesh. And my back is sore today from doing yard work (broke the wheel off a trash can and also broke a pair of garden shears). Sigh.

They tell yah, after a ceratin age (almost always the one you're currently at), it's vital to know your limits. Problem is, those limits keep changing ..... .

About to go to work again though this will be the last day for me because I then get 3 days off after today.

Went to my first day back at Uni. Overall uneventful but it's nice to be back in the flow of it.

Just watching the rain come down in massive torrents and our street flooding.

Hopefully it's not too bad.

It wasn't that bad but I did get three alerts on my phone about there being flash flooding around my location but we didn't get any thankfully. Plus the rain has let up a little bit.

Today I thought my allergy congestion was gone until it came back with a vengeance at about 6:30. If it still continues I am gonna make an appointment with someone because I can't function with a stuffed up nose.

Waiting for hurricane/Tropical Storm LEE to visit.

Wondering if hurricane/tropical storm Lee will end up visiting. So far I have seen no signs of it on my end. And my cousin-in-law basically said the meteorologists basically made it a larger issue than it was. I guess we will see.

Trying to get psyched to write. Besides, I may as well use the time before 2025 to practice writing stories through fanfiction before the internet goes out everywhere with that internet destroying solar flare.

Me and the missus are going to our favorite ice cream stand. It operates on a seasonal basis and closes today evening. Summer officially ends in my home town when Lago's closes.

Trying to figure out what to do on my day off. Its funny that I hate going to work but when I am not working I have no idea what to do with myself.

I may not be working on Chaos Fight, but I will make sure that me and my family will have a Peaceful and Sane holiday season, rest of this month and the entirety of December.

Getting ready to go to work where I will be there until 9 instead of until 8 because its the week of Thanksgiving. This is gonna be fun.

Grocery shopping on a cold, wet, very rainy and blustery day.

Getting settled in back at home and trying to deal with this minor headache I have so it doesn't grow.

Helping a friend move from one apartment to another - but not much. He's a good fella but an awful, awful hoarder! Amutual friend of ours quit on him after he refused to move boxes of assorted foodstuffs with outdated expiration labels. Me, I just smile, say "no", and pick up something else.

With this guy, there's always something else.

Car to the garage on a piston recall ... guess what, they found another repair for hundreds more. Pistons for Christmas, I guess.

Just enjoying the day off that I have today after working 3 days in a row.

Recovering from a REALLY bad headache and trying to sleep a bit more since I go back to work. I ingested a lot of caffeine last night which DIDN'T help but now the caffeine is kicking in and preventing me from sleeping.

Worked at the church agrarian coop all afternoon. Had some fun and interesting discussions.
