Today I need some good ballads, i am a little sad  , and i love ballads  , so if one of you have some AWESOME BALLADS that you wanna post? I mean that song that is full with feelings and that can make you cry or jump in the air and scream "Im so happy!"!!! (love, angry, sad, hapiness, etc.)

My choice:

I have never really gotten Ballads. I know the definition, but I can't pick them out.

Maybe The Way by Fastball or Black Parade by My Chemical Romance. Do they count?

Listen to the entirety of Tomorrow, In a Year by The Knife, Mt. Sims, and PlanningtoRock. I always have it on my stereo when I'm in the house for more than an hour. It's hard to just sit down and listen. When you're doing other stuff- like homework, or when you're on the computer- the sounds just... work. Hard to explain.

The album (and the original "electro-opera") follows a Darwin-based concept, where the album "evolves" from random blips and boops into a structured musical piece. It's very, very cool.

Personally, it's my soundtrack because it's been playing near-everyday since I got the album. It's pretty freaking sweet.

Here's an example of one of the more "evolved" parts near the end of the album:

Party song? Ow, I don't know much what is playing on parties, but I can always guess ;)

What will be good for a party, let see .......

Metallica - Whiskey in the jar

Abba - Dancing queen

Dope - You spin me round

Bee Gees - Staying alive

Queen - Don't stop me now

Cher - Strong enough

Cher - Belive

HIM - Wicked game

Some song I think will suit for party, but generaly I sugest more Abba and Bee Gees songs, there're very good for parties ;)

I was also thinking about some Apocalyptica songs, but I'm not sure about it ;)

How in the world do you expect to fill up a party playlist without an electronic song? Unless you go with a 50's theme...but nobody these days dances to Big Band or Rock 'n Roll music.

I think I know the 'electrical' you're saying you don't want though, so minding that, here are my suggestions (I'm sure you know most of these but just in case, I added YouTubes like everyone else does):

Michael Jackson - Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough
Sylvester - You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)
Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack
Talking Heads - Once in a Lifetime
The Cardigans - Lovefool
Prince - Let's Go Crazy
Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You
Junior Senior - Move Your Feet
Beyonce - Crazy in Love (has exactly 1 rap verse; if that becomes a problem for you then just give up on your party mix)
LCD Soundsystem - All My Friends
Chic - Good Times
Donna Summer - Hot Stuff
The B-52's - Rock Lobster
No Doubt - Hella Good
Blondie - Heart of Glass
David Bowie - Golden Years
Spiderbait - Dinnertime
Stevie Wonder - Higher Ground
New Order - The Perfect Kiss
Danny Byrd ft. Liquid - Sweet Harmony
Grizzly Bear - Two Weeks
Metallica - Whiskey in the jar
HIM - Wicked game
Do you seriously expect anyone to dance to these two songs?

Dope's version of You Spin Me Round is questionable as well.

(+ wowee that's the worst version of Wicked Game I've ever heard)

if you only mean "pure" electronic, then I can suggest "stamp on the ground" by Italobrothers.
other wise, I can suggest "get this party started" by Pink

OK then, other than you two? It's not going to be a party full of rock kids. In fact, it's likely to be the polar opposite.
And I won't comment what you said about the Wicked Game ;) :P
It's no Chris Isaak, at least.

I can agree that Chris Isaak is very good version and I also like it ;)

And that's why good question is here who will be on this party. People who prefer hard, rock music, people who like pop music or something different. Because it wasn't mentioned. I like rock music and I can imagine (not only this) how to dance to some tracks, but I can't imagine it if we take for example hip hop/rap music, but there're people who will say that they can do it. Everything depends on ours music preferences.

But the most safe option here is use a lot of pop music tracks, because there're the most "neutral" of all types and some classics, like Abba, Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, Prince, etc.
