Fair enough. It's still probably colder than Africa.

No, it's in the United States. The comic just hasn't said which state.

It still is not on the southermost ones, since it snows during winter there, unless the climate is different in Housepets!
Come to think of it, all nations' borders cold very well be different in Housepets!

Man, he didn't look that big next to Sabrina and the other cats.

Also, Uncle Deadeye is now my new favorite character.

I'm betting that, during the date, the specist streak of Prince Jata will push Grape into giving him a piece of her fury 8-)
(not that I mind Jata disliking humans, but I hope he's not a fanatic)

Plus three Rick comments! Is that the most there's been since the comments under the comic itself went away?

Not exactly. I'd say this is slightly over his average number of comments per strip. It's probably that way because he's happy with the way this one turned out.

I would make a "Talk to the Hand" joke here, but... come on, it's the wolf family we're talking about. Such a comment would be insulting.

Woah didn't realise deadeye was blind up till now, but I guess it was pretty obvious, hence the name...

Also, Jata's really tall! And I thought Miles was tall... (3/4 the height of a human, as seen here https://www.housepetscomic.com/2011/12/23/glass-houses/)

So... Jata's about one head taller than Miles, that makes him about/taller than the average human height?

And that would mean Deadeye's quite big too, unless his 'station' requires him standing guard upon a raised platform.

but Rick also drew leaves on background trees in a New Year's strip, and mid-winter leaves don't happen in the north.

Most places on that map are. Just cut out a bit from the bottom of New Mexico and Texas, I believe.
