I would love an 80-20 cheese to sauce ratio.

Unless, I can have an Alfredo sauce, then I want it switched.

I don't think I have ever heard of alfredo sauce on a pizza.

To be honest I'm not sure if its Alfredo sauce exactly. But yeah, at a lot of pizza places I've noticed you can substitute for a "white sauce".

Sounds sorta like "garlic" or "white" pizza. I'm not a conner'sewer, though...

Maybe, maybe not. But it definitely tastes great. Especially with some spinach and mushrooms. Even some Chicken if you're feeling daring.

That might actually be alfredo sauce but I never heard of it over here being used on pizza.

Then again, I'm pretty sure people that aren't from New England or New York know what hot weiners are either.

It’s a hot dog that is smaller and thinner that is made of a combination of pork, beef and veal in a bun that is steamed and not grilled. It is topped with celery salt, yellow mustard, chopped onions and a meat sauce made of beef, celery salt, cumin, paprika, chili powder and allspice.

It's not really all that spicy. The place I go to doesn't use a lot of seasoning but just enough.

I also live in a certain part of Texas where Asian food is VERY popular and the closest to authentic it can be. That I do love.

We don't have an Asian food around but we do have Chinese food but I'm not sure if it is authentic or not.

Thats all that matters in the end. To get slightly back on topic, do they have regional pizza toppingd up there? Like seafood pizza or something?

Really? I've never liked it.
Then again I live in the almost-exact center of a pretty large continent. I may just not know anyone who can cook it well. Hard to say 'cause it's been so long I don't remember what the taste was like, only that I didn't like it.
Oh but that's not all. Even I know they're still alive when you cook them.
Even as a self-confessed bloodthirsty monster I think that alone would be enough to turn me off. Like eating a bug that was still crawling the last time you saw it. Except this bug has GIANT CLAWS FOR RIPPING. I wouldn't put a live scorpion in my oven either!

Don't know why I'm going on about this. I don't hate all shellfish... only most of them. I like squid!

I don't know if Winnipeg really has a specialty... we seem to just have a little bit of everywhere else in the world. The only spot where we're kinda patchy is eastern Europe.
Maybe the specialty is Folklorama :D

I'll give it a fair fight. No rubber bands, no tongs. Whoever ends up in the pot ends up in the pot.

Winnipeg? Isn't the specialty poutine? or Timmy Horton's? Poutine on a pizza though sounds very carby and savory. It could probably work with the right amount of sauce~

Naw that's just Canada in general. Even our provinces are so big they should probably have provinces of their own :) Except half of those sub-provinces would end up with a single-digits population
And Tim Hortons' is mainly just a sort of donut-shop food, and sandwiches you could get anywhere. It's good comfort food, but nothing too special.
It's nice to get a good poutine though. A surprisingly hard dish to get right. Or at least, to my taste. :D

BTW does that lobster know it's trying to get you into the pot? Is the pot even big enough for the two of you?
...maybe you should both get in a giant pot and compete to see who can get out first :o

Well, Canada is a region. I am unsure if they have Tim Hortons down here so you could make junkfood pizza. That's a popular custom pizza in my area, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a strong heart . . . and stomach.

Well, I'll explain it to the lobster. Even use pictures and pointing. It's up to them to understand. I'm not sending it to college just to understand this fight.

Not even Lobster College, the College for Lobsters? (they're not very creative crustaceans)

Canada *issssssssss* a region, but not really in the same way you guys have been defining it within all your different States so far. I'm fairly sure places like Newfoundland and New Brunswick would have some fairly distinctive flavours and, probably, lobster reality shows like your own... and I'm sure Quebec has carefully created its own culinary identity just for the sake of having a special one... but we're just kinda missing that type of variation once you go farther west. Even the food in Ontario isn't that different from what you'd get in, say, Alberta.

If he can get some kind of scholarship then possibly.

Well, after a quick search best thing I could find was "Bannock". Some kind of bread. so, you could make a pizza out of that, with the optimal sauce-cheese ratio you are looking for. Also something called "Smoked Goldeye" is apparently a regional dish and some kinda sauce called " Honey Dill sauce".

...well I don't like honey or dill. I've seen that one advertised though.
Don't know if I've ever had goldeye. I should probably give it a try, I love fish.
I do have a little smoked fish called sprats from time to time, on crackers, it's amazing.

And, well, scholarships for lobsters are hard to come by. And they're paid out in shrimp for some reason.

I can safely say I've never heard of something called Sprats. I also don't know if I've had smoked Fish. Just grilled, baked, or fried. Same with any other seafood.

Oh no, Poor lobsters.

Tim Horton's ("Timmy's") are found in the USA mostly in the northeast, especially in New York and Pennsylvania. Their coffee's pretty good, an acquired taste like Dunkin's. If you wanted to be friendly, you could buy the lobster a coffee and a bear claw...

Huh, I learned something new. Mostly that I don't need to go out of country to taste something I heard about on a TV show.

And no, I don't want to be friendly. I want to eat that lobster. But I also want to be fair and give it a chance. I could even just leave the door open and give it a few minute head start if it wished to leave.

One time I was at the market and I just stared at the lobsters in the tank and watched them. Then I decided if I ever bought on, I was either gonna keep it as a pet or release it.

I knew someone in college that had a pet lobster. It was free range and got pretty big and honestly somewhat scary.

I never had lobster before and lobster on pizza sounds like a New England thing. I am sure there is a restaurant around here that would have it as a topping.

Well, I've seen crab meat on pizza in Maryland a couple of times so lobster on pizza in New England ... probably somewhere.

I haven't had crab or lobster in a very long time but... as far as I remember, I have tried both by themselves, but liked neither :o
The only spineless-sea-animals I actually like are squid and octopus. Which must be a little strange 'cause I've always heard those are the ones that are supposed to be an acquired taste

Three years ago when I was in North Carolina visiting my sister we went out and I tried fried calamari and thought it was actually quite good. I think I remember saying it tasted like onion rings.
