At least in my case: An extremely painstaking process of constantly trying to get a smaller and smaller screenshot of the image in question. I think my profile pic came out to like seven attempts because it was just too large xd. HOWEVER, I probably did it the hard way and there's an insanely easier way of doing it that I just don't know about.

I just use an online avatar resizer and keep on changing the size until its under 100 pixels.

Plenty of free image editors out there that can crop and resize stuff to your hearts' content.
I use irfanview really just for stuff like that, and it's apparently one of the worse ones.

I would be willing to use any one of the many out there but I don't want to have to make an account.

Yeah I don't go on the forums on the phone (and also my phone is a crappy old flip phone) so that won't work for me. I appreciate your help though!

I'm not sure what OS you use, but there are similar programs for each OS. The trick is finding the option to type in pixels when you resize the image.

I will be sure to keep that in mind.
