Hearing Hutch swear too, Flynn look over at Leslie. "That's good. Keep it that way, OK?" Looking around he sees Hutch's coat on the floor. He hesitates for a moment and then picks it up and hunts through the pockets until he finds Hutch's tags.
Carefully entering the tunnel, he passes the tags to the dog.
"Well you got your name right at least. You don't wear a collar, you keep your tags in your pocket instead. Do they stir any memories?"

After all the pets exit the hole, Flynn shuts the trap door again. Just in time too.
"I heard shouting. Everything alright?" Joan has poked her head around the door. "Oh, more new pets. What's going on, Flynn?"
"Mum, this is Aron and Leslie. Everything's fine. We were just playing."
Joan looks doubtfully at Flynn for a few moments. "Alright, if you're sure. Nice to meet you two, by the way. I'm Joan, Flynn's 'mum'." Joan finishes by addressing Les and Ar.

"To be honest, I wasn't quite thinking straight when I met him. Lucky had just fallen down the stairs, you see, so I was-" Piper's ears turn slightly pinker. "-worrying about him. When Doc came in he was wearing a collar so I figured he'd be tame. Turned out he's a medic so he managed to patch Lucky right up."

After a quick goodbye and reminder to Flynn to play nice, Joan leads Leslie to the kitchen. Opening the fridge, she pulls out the small tin with the leftover fish from John's breakfast. She tips the 2 sardines onto a saucer and passes it along with a fork to Leslie.
"Here you are. Enjoy. You look like you could use some fattening up."

Rusty who had been wondering around outside exploring for a while without any real excitement, decides to head inside the Porter's house in an attempt to find some company. Walking into the kitchen, he stumbles upon Joan and Leslie.

"Oh hello!" He says, not expecting to find anyone, "Not to be any trouble, but, Mrs Flynn's Mum, would you happen to know where everyone is?"

Hutch sat quietly, gripping the tags in his hand. Blank faced.
I remember... Bits and pieces. recent names, but not much.
More silence followed after this statement.
About a year ago, Me, Roo, and my dad, Steven went to Chicago.
Hutch polished the tags, still with a blank face.
We went against a big mafia. Trying to get some old dam Egyptian artifact. Hutch said angrily.
We talked to small fish in the gang. We worked with the police to get information from the bigger ones, until eventually, we found the boss' headquarters.
Hutch went silent again.

Hutch remained quiet for a short time.
We confronted them. With the police at our back. Some fighting went on as Roo found what we were looking for. Hutch went quiet.
We had him, the main boss arrested. He looked me in the eye and told me he would get revenge. Hutch sat quietly again. All you could hear was mumbling down stairs.
I didn't believe him. I scoffed at him. We had proof about who he was. There was massive evidence that put him to the crime. He was going to prison, maybe even death.
Hutch gripped the tags in his paws.
We watched him go to jail. Dad got paid. We wrote the blog. Everyone was happy. Hutch slightly loosened the grip.
I got home and celebrated with my wife. 13 years, and I already had a wonderful life. Hutch went quiet.
We went to a maccaroni bar. A couple grape sodas. We had a good time.
Hutch again sat quietly.

Doc became a bit irritated by the fact that the Animal control officer was trying to reason that he was going to help him, he didn't buy any of it and continued to snarl and bare his teeth until the officer's radio sounded and then he asked what his name was and his reason for being here. Doc calmed a bit but still kept a slight distance moving slowly around the officer with his eyes narrowed on the officers pole
"Depends. I'm trying to help another fellow animal, so how are you an Animal control officer going to" He made air quotes with his digits "Help Me?"

Hutch gripped the tags in his paws.
When I got home, I saw Roo lying in a pool of blood. I ran to her body to see if she was alive. I felt her heart beating, but barely. I went to call the police, when I heard moaning. Sickening moaning. Hutch squeezed the tags tighter.
I looked around, trying to find where it was coming from. The sounds were coming from the kitchen.
Hutch went silent.
I looked in the kitchen, to find Dad, with a noose around his neck, also beat to a bloody pulp. As if to taunt him, they placed a stool, just enough for him to tip-toe to keep himself from suffocating. I reached up and untied his hands and feet. Then I cut the rope. Hutch's paws started dripping blood.
I tried to help him down, but we over balanced. He grabbed my collar. I fell with him. He tried to say something to me, but I couldn't understand him. He gasped it again, but still I couldn't understand. His hand tightened around my collar as he...
Hutch squeezed the tags even tighter, and more blood dripped from his paws.
He didn't know, but his grip on my collar was suffocating me. And since he died, I wanted to join-- Hutch closed his eyes tight as he gripped the tags tighter. Hutch stayed quiet, breathing heavily.
After a couple minutes, Hutch continued.
So I let his dying grip strangle me. I didn't care any more. But, I heard a hoarse voice, whisper to me. GET UP.

You would need time training with Animal control, an become a partner animal. then you could go out of searches with them.

Geez, Aron.. You didn't have to jump down his throat.. He's only a kit! So stupid.. He thought to himself, pinching his upper muzzle, eyes closed. ..Ah, stop moaning to yourself, it ain't gonna help.. Just relax.. He slowly breathed in, then out. As he did, he slowly slipped into slumber..
