This band was my inspiration for joining the music scene. The song was the first I heard by them: At The Gates - "Cold"

Just recently found this band...
"FOUR TEETH" - True Widow
Loving their sound. It's like a combination of drone, shoegaze, and stoner rock... it's perfect.

Speaking of old songs, I just found this song:

Weird Al Yankovic - Jerry Springer

Which is a parody of THIS song:

Barenaked Ladies - One Week

I actually enjoy that song on a completely un-ironic level. I am impervious to your witch craft!

My sisters decided to sing the Backstreet Boys song I Want It That Way when I was up there for "Family Day" at "University of New Haven". I responded by singing All About That Bass by Meghan Trainor.

Papaoutai – Pentatonix ft. Lindsey Stirling (Stromae Cover)

The video may be a bit weird, but Pentatonix is so good! Their new album/EP came out the 23rd as well. :P

Halloween is now only 30 days away!

Rigor Mortis - Re-Animator!

"He seeks fresh bodies in the morgue to test his new creation
Injecting serum in the corpses for the hope of re-animation
He has conquered brain death, welcome back to life!"

I think I saw an animation about that a while ago. I can't check the video right now though because school blocks YouTube. But I think I have.

That's just the audio only version. There is a really cool fmv cut together from clips from the film. I didn't post it here because I did not think the mods would appreciate scenes of gore and zombie carnage.

you were probably thinking of this video (slight content warning for the song)
it's based on the same movie as the other song is, but is a lot more upbeat.

and while I'm getting songs stuck in people's heads using cartoons, have this by the same artist

I didn't mean for there to be any misunderstanding, that's why I put a quote of some of the lyrics.
"I'm not insane! I'm dead but he gave me life!"

I always associate songs based on splatter movies with heavy metal or industrial music, not upbeat dance songs.

Gwar - Zombie

Rigor Mortis - Wizard of Gore

Rigor Mortis - Demons

The Misfits - Night of the Living Dead
