:P Hmm! Umm....

I don't have a set favorite. I'm seriously starting to grow out of video games. But the Spyro games for the PS1 will forever hold a special place in my heart.

I'm so annoyed!

I was playing Civ V as India, under the One-city challenge, trying to win a culture victory. I was doing fine, even though England has been at war with me for over a thousand in game years, (the computer is absolutely awful at war, and keeps just sending units to die. My city was so heavily fortified and powerful that I'd gone something like 50 turns without any units actually managing to even attack, instead they all just died from bombardment and being next to one of my citadels) and I had 3 policy tracks completed and was working on my fourth when all of a sudden my computer crashes! It doesn't even give me a proper error, it just decided to crash! And I hadn't saved for a long time. I'm very annoyed!

India? Not Texas? :P

My favorite video game of all time is very easily Paper Mario. But I'd have a hard time picking just one. If I'm allowed a broader list, add Pokemon Blue, Super Mario World, Tales of Symphonia and Final Fantasy VI to the mix.

You can't play as Texas. And India has bonuses to having small empires.

Since I was a child I could never get past the first stage of any Mario game and I also never could beat the last of boss any megaman game either. I'm aware I'm an epic failure at this kind of game.
My thing is RPG. My latest accomplish was defeat Ozma in FF IX in my psp.

Do it.

And the sequel was pretty much just as good. The third was disappointed, but I am so happy the 3DS game is going to be an RPG again.

So I just got Alan Wake yesterday(bit late but w/e). I played it pretty much all day today and I only have one episode left, and I must say, I'm absolutely in love with this game.

I think it is probably one of, if not the most, entertaining narratives I have ever seen EVER. Let alone for a game. The characters are incredibly well-imagined, the idea is captivating, and it's all wrapped up in a thrilling plot-line with twists and cliffhangers that always leave you on the edge of your seat.

Overall, a fantastic game. Anyone else played it and want to share their thoughts?

The birds in that game darn near drove me insane.

Agh, the birds! I never have much of a problem with them because when they start cawing really loud I turn and boost the flashlight right into the middle of them, and they disperse. But I agree, they are very annoying.

Two words. Assassin's Creed. This game does something that most video games do not.
They put the character in a historical setting yes, but this is the kicker.
Every person that you kill mysteriously died at that time period. Every area is based off that
historical area. Unlike most games, its base is in history it self. What other game does that?
Gameplay is also amazing. Every animation is amazing.
Call me a fanatic, but I Love the games.

Ubisoft, you guys are the man!

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem. Which is also basically the best survival horror game ever. I even wrote a history paper on that game.

Also, I played Assassin's Creed II for like two minutes and stopped because the controls were unbearable. People wonder sometimes, why don't I...spend more money on games. Well, that's one of the major reasons. People who recall my video game posts will know that I seem to not like a lot of games, and only play them for a few hours before decided I don't like them.

I got Dragon Quest IX! It's pretty good! And it got near-perfect reviews!
Plus, it's drawn by Akira Toriyama, the guy behind the Dragonball series. And Level-5 and Square Enix. I can't wait to get further in the game!

I like the idea of Civ, but in all the videos it really distracts me the entire Anachronistic atmosphere- like, the fact that the United States and the English empire can come into being at the same time and exist alongside each other (along with ancient Rome)...
The strategy sounds fun, but I wouldn't be able to focus because I would be so upset by the mishmosh of time periods.

Hey i was thinking when i was playing need For Speed Hot Pursuit, What is the best driving road in the gaming world? I'd like to hear your views about it, race tracks aren't allowed though. My opinion is Eagle Crest Road in Need For Speed Shift and this is why. Imagine blasting through snow covered mountains, hairpins down the side of it, an open cave you can blast through next to the main road, overlooking a coastline/desert/forest, and finally blasting through the whole thing in a Lamborghini. Also i say, also in the same game, is the Cascade Terrace or something like that, going past the rich and famous at over 200 and going around the Conservatory hairpin though less mad turns but more time to show your cars speed. Both of them routes are driving heaven.

I'm gonna try to get back into RPGs, since I haven't played one in a while. So, I've been playing Platinum and I actually kind of like it. The only thing is I don't like some of the Pokemon (1st generation was the best) and your friend is just... annoying. He's not funny; he's not cute -- he's annoying. But I'm still playing it.

My sister got Bioshock 2 as a gift and brought it over (she's visiting). I never really got into the first one, but so far I'm having a great deal of fun playing through the second one.

I also bought Borderlands off of Steam, so I'll play that when I get done with Bioshock 2.

I'm still securely seatbelted in the wagon, myself. A worgen fire mage is what I would have made if I played, though. I played a super-specialized human fire mage before I quit, so I'd want to continue that with Cataclysm. Only fuzzier.

^ What he said. You will not be disappointed.

As for CIV5 I don't really know if I want to get it. I got CIV4 about 6 months ago and the Rhye's and Fall mod (one of the best mods I've played) and have played it soooooo much. And the small amount of stuff I have seen about CIV5 is just not that appealing to me. Maybe I'm wrong but I'm happy with CIV4 at the moment.

Played Bejeweled 3 for a total of 7.8 hours, and I'm already on level 72 in Zen/Endless mode. Probably spent 6 of those 7.8 hours in Zen/Endless.

I really need to go outside, huh.

When I finished Black-Ops the other day I was just: "wow..."

Psychological action thriller FPS? It had some far fetched moments but I think it had a great story.
