"A jinx is like a game. If two people say the exact same thing at the same time, whoever says jinx first silences the other until the people who were present during the jinx say his or her name."

Elliot manages to break free and knock over Faust.

"That jinx combo you heard me and Faust do is our own little variation. We say those exact words in synchronization to cancel out the jinx."

"We've been here for a while now and we still haven't cleaned up."

"I'm glad we haven't, there might be other pets heading here now. Besides, the best time to go out is around this time of day."

"Alright then. I'll go look around up that tree. If I see a pet heading this way, we will stay. If not, we leave."

Faust heads up the tree and pulls out his telescope.

After the fun with the bin, Leslie asked if they could head out and show Vera a little of the neighbourhood. Aron stated Leslie just wanted to go to the park again and the kitten chuckled. Vera stated that she wasn't sure if her leg was up to it yet and, with the proviso that he didn't go past the park, Leroy decided to let the youngster head out by himself after repeating the home address in case he needed it. He also reminded Leslie that he'd need to come home for food. Recalling his tummy, Leslie made himself an extremely lopsided sandwich, pulled on his pack - leaving blankie on the bed - and headed out for the park. "Yew can follow on if yew want, Aron!"
