Yeah. Juniper's situation will take some time RP wise to sort out.

I was kind of hoping to use the questioning of the fox as a way to introduce Deus to the story. I was going to have Flash get the fox to chase him to where Deus is. If not, I need to figure out some way to introduce my second character. I'm curious as to what will happen next.

How would they contact Deus from the middle of town?
I think it would make more sense to introduce him when the shots are fired at the railyard.

Oh. To be fair, I have next to no idea where the bush/ally is in relation to everything else. I just figured that because there was a feral fox there and because Nadia took very little time to get from the bush to the rail yard which is off the map, that the alley and bush were reasonably close to the outskirts of town. Then Flash could lure him out to where Deus could find them. But if they're actually in the middle of town, that kind of puts the kibosh on that plan. Eh. RP is about improvising. I'll just roll with things for now I guess. Whatever happens next, I'll figure out what to do about it. Probably won't introduce Deus yet unless you think Flash can reasonably lure the fox to a wooded area.

If you do think Flash can get to Deus, then we can play this during the chase.

My only problem with this is that I like making my character introductions major establishing character moments with little exposition. MT punched through a solid metal lock and emerged like a horror monster. He was rusted and weathered, and his speech was glitching. This showed he was old, but very strong. Flash was introduced sneaking around looking for food, fitting his role as a kind of scout. He demonstrated his agility by running up a wall a la Titanfall 2. Deus demonstrates his role as protector and his massive strength... by showing up too late for a fight and having to be explained away by Flash?

The railyard is to the North East of the town.
I guess the alley should be in that direction somewhere too since Nadia didn't come back past the pets.

As to Deus, if he shows up to help interrogate the fox then where would he go when the others go to the rail yard?

Back to the outskirts of town. Flash could tell him that with two possible hostages, a subtler approach is necessary. Deus would be fine with that explanation as flash often needs to go off alone to scout or get into places without being seen.

Sorry I'm being so stubborn. The introduction of a character is kind of important to me. I'll be less stubborn after the two are introduced together.

It's fine. And I know just how to make Flash see the need to bring Deus into the interrogation. ^^

Finally caught up with all the original starting off and wanting to potentially get back in off the, well did not get put on the inactive list, heh. Lot of posts for this story, not much time has passed for the pet-napping plot thought it seems?

RP plots tend to creep along, unless given a push to keep them moving along

Flash is quite possibly shorter than the grass he's running through. Depends on if it's been mowed. Actually, he might even be shorter than mowed grass... Anyway, I don't think "ducking" anything is going to be a problem.

And I figured that would be his job once everything hit the fan. Go in, free them, then lead them out. Though I suppose he might be able to slip in the next time they open the secret door and tell Piper and Nadia that they are going to be rescued and they just need to wait a little while longer.

Could work. Although it's a relatively new crate so he won't really find much to let him in aside from the main door.

Some shipping crates have ventilation systems. Sometimes that's just a small hole near the top I think. If so, I can parkour up there and use that. Might even get him past the false back.
