I'm just surprised with Max's self-esteem issues that the two of them ended up staying together this long if Grape keeps on drooling over big muscular animals.

What's he gonna do, leave her? Sure, Grape goes chasing after whatever big guy comes along, but she keeps returning to Max at the end of the day. Also, that black cat's got a lot of charm, style, and attitude going for him (And the adorable bell-shell around his collar works in his favor too).

I highly doubt they will leave each other, but you can't help sometimes worry about it with the way Maxwell is. Sure, there is the issue we don't give them enough credit, but it's hard sometimes not to think otherwise in a normal situation when you start to notice someone takes these things very lightly. That's why i'm banking they have a way to fix this at the end of this arc.
