Okay, so who here doesn't like Deep Purple? I'm sure you've heard at least ONE song of the 5 I linked. Well, the last one isn't really known well, but I still love it. Deep Purple just had everything a band needs, IMHO. Ian Gillan has a vocal range of 4 octaves, Blackmore is a 1-in-a-100000 guitarists, and Jon Lord was born with the keyboard, I think. So I ask - what's there not to like on Deep Purple?

I really like how they're not being deviants in that video. Warms my heart. Though I wonder how they manage to drink all that blue drank if it's not in a bottle.

Neat song, by the way. I can pretty much only like indie rock when it involves synthesizers. Mostly.

It's all he's given us to go by. Hence I'm not sure what he's actually like, but form what he's demonstrated if I had to bet I'd go with "bad person."

And I'm perfectly willing to call artists I respect total jerks as well. Like Roger Waters.

Yea ok nothing is right with that first line. He's made many public appearances, been given interviews, all kinds of stuff, and out of that, maybe two or three moments were objectionable. And hey, it's your fault you don't listen to his music enough to know. Most of his lyrics show him as a very thoughtful, caring person. (edit: incidentally I just found this quote that pretty well invalidates your opinion (Pete Rock's))

But yes, in fact, Roger Waters (though not terrible) was one of the first people I thought of when I made that last post. I'd also reiterate Varg Vikernes, who I'd consider terrible, and I just think it's unreasonable to put Kanye on the same level as that trash.

EDIT: But seriously dude listen to "Lord Lord Lord" even you would think it's kick-bubblegum

EDIT 2: Haha the filter takes "bubblegum" out of "kick-bubblegum" what a hoot
