Just noticed this now but I have a question about it. Do all Celestials have spikes on their elbows and knees or is it just Macabre and Mirage (Whose ship name I am dubbing Macage)?

No, not at all. The al'miraj, what Mirage is based off of, is described as only having one horn. I went overboard with the spikes, which Chaoko reigned in a bit. As for Macabre, I just liked the skeletal motif. As for Sickle having one, the kamaitachi, a creature described in Japanese folklore, is sometimes portrayed having literal sickles for paws.

But your Sickle wouldn't have actual sickles because then he wouldn't be able to pull pranks on hapless celestials. :D

I gave him a retractable claw, comes out of the wrist. Only shown it twice, and quite long ago, so I'm not surprised that it's been forgotten. Though that first one, it was a bladed arm band. Just felt like switching it to a natural claw. I need to do a lot more with my other characters.

I wouldn't mind learning more about Sickle, if only because it seems that even with his speed, some of his pranks do result in him getting pummeled. 8-)

Tiger + Grasshopper = Tigerhopper.

No bigger than your left thumb, Tigerhopper’s damage capacity is inversely correlated to his perceived ferocity. This makes him terrifyingly cute.

I love cartoons + animals and wanted to do some fun maths concepts for my 6 year old and ended up doing THIS!

Another attempt at Celestial-form Mirage. Think better than last time I went without reference. Also did this entirely digital as opposed to starting with a physical sketch.

Okay, I did not think of that response, but that's awesome! :D There's a variant of this on my DeviantArt page where she's actually holding a piece of meat, just decided it'd be a bit much for here.
Amazee Dayzee wrote:Definitely does look feminine even though you got the post from DBZ and a cocky Gotenks. XD
I actually didn't use any references for this. And I never saw much of DBZ. 95% of my exposure to the series is the Abridged version, the other 5% being games like Xenoverse and Budokai Tenkaichi 2.

You did see Gotenks in SS3 mode when you saw those scenes in the media that you were watching right? If you didn't see them, then nevermind though I'm pretty sure somewhere along the line there was a shot of Gotenks posing like that. :D

Abridged hasn't gotten to Gotenks introduction, my copy of Tenkaichi 2 wouldn't run the Buu saga due to damage, and I never saw Gotenks pull that pose in Xenoverse, so no. Only pose I recall him doing was basically a dab with the Ginyu force in FighterZ. It was one of the few clips I saw of that game.

Then in that case it was a big coincidence because I am so sure that is a look that Gotenks would end up having and might have gave at some point in the anime.

There's a...better...version on my DA page. It's supposed to be the two of them making a few Halloween pictures, with Macabre seemingly biting into Mirage. Even had fake blood for it, but despite kinda sucking at drawing liquids, figured to make a clean version regardless.

Had this kind of image in my head for quite a while, since last year! Just finally got myself to make it.

Definitely. She's much more outgoing than he is. As long as he knows it's all fun and games, he'll usually be fine joining Mirage in her ideas of fun.

Hehehe, those two are really cute together. Nice work D-Rock.
I also did something for Halloween, though it's not quite finished and probably will remain so at this rate. I took a walk up Bald Mountain and stared into the night sky, letting my thoughts unravel...

A few months ago I said I would remake Caleb, my jackelope, or as he was referred to with his initial design, "the third wheel."

Yes, I'm aware I'm kinda mean to some of my characters. Been feeling bad about Harriet, too. Anyway, greatly simplified his design. Also gave him a mace. I've been in a baton sort of mood with weapons, and it just became a mace.

Haven't posted here in a while ^^

I was reading Rick Griffins "Pit Fighters" and had to draw some fanart of it ^^

It's a scene from the second part "Orientation"

A fight between Paris (rabbit) and Porte (skunk)

Worked up some maces for Caleb.

Starburst- a mace that Caleb had made. Capable of extending.
Iron Mace- a simple mortal-made mace. In fact, not well-crafted, but gave Caleb the idea to make a mace his default weapon.
Demon Bane- despite the name, a mortal-made weapon used by a demon-hunting group. Has no special properties other than what comes natural of a mace. The group didn't last long.
Magic Rod- relatively simple rod meant to harness various types of magic. Has long since lost its charge, but its sturdy build led Caleb to keep it as-is.
Lapin Laughter- "gift" from Sickle. Who then went on to hide Starburst.
Horn of Life- During a visit to a mortal realm, Caleb ended up shedding his horns, where one was found by a mortal believing it would have some sort of blessing. Turned out to have no special properties.
Mace of Phlegethon- an infamous Infernal weapon often used by the highest of their order to strike fear in all below them. Many demons would cower at the mere sight of this mace. One somehow managed to be obtained by a mortal, and Caleb was tasked with retrieving it. Upon completion, he had the weapon purified and stripped of its Infernal connection. Macabre was none too pleased to learn that Caleb kept this on his person.

The Starburst. The rest are more impromptu weapons, and as mentioned, the standard maces are kinda plain or shoddy. The last mace he won't use around Macabre.
