Sorrow: A local book store is shutting down. Turns out one of their managers was embezzling funds. I donated some books before they made their final decision. I knew it would not fix things but ultimately it was a wasted effort.

Joy: Plan 9 Comics is shutting down. Normally I would be sad but it is because a new show, The Mana Spot, opened and people flocked to it because they are tired of Plan 9's horrific incompetence. So they are moving to a different town.

Joy: Finished with the dreaded philosophy exam! It wasn't hard, I guess, I've also heard that the grade curve was really low, yet I'm confident that I did well. I've got high hopes :)

Joy and Sorrow: There was a video store in my hometown that was around since I was five. It finally closed today. I had a lot of fond memories of that place when I was a kid how I use to rent games there all the time with my mother. I went there today and talked to the owner to see if she recognized me. She didn't, but I told her about my mom and she knew who I was talking about. Since the store closes in two weeks, I decided to help and bought Twisted Metal for the PS3 and Final Fantasy XIII - 2 for the XBOX 360. I was teary seeing that place go. :'(

Seethe: Uni logic. Hey let's lump a whole bunch of assignments within a two week period! Because everyone knows students can complete a massive piece of coursework in about three days apiece!

Sorrow: Though the first two practical assignments went very well (as far as I am aware) and the theory behind them both seemed good...yeah the final practical went BADLY. Showing how to handle, restrain and sex a small mammal, whilst answering a lot of questions. I thought hamsters were docile...no. The minute I picked the thing up she was squirming around and leaping back into the container. I DID NOT KNOW HAMSTERS COULD LEAP! And to make matters worse she decided she was hungry. My finger being the only source of food around. So I bled quite a lot. I didn't realise her teeth had sunk that deep until it was dripping onto the table. Got quite a bit on my boots and the floor too. And someone else had to put her back. The assistant keeper was all jolly about it (apparently it happens a lot with these little ********) but if that doesn't badly affect my grades then I don't know what will. I really don't want to fail this because of one stupid, grumpy hamster.

At least the main biology exam is over. Two hours, one hundred marks and several imagined gunshots later and we all come out wanting to cry.

On the bright side my final assignment is due in right before I go to the London expo. And one costume has finally arrived. Just need one more for my sis, a giant splash out on food to sustain us for when we go and it is alllll sorted. :D

I feel your pain, man...I work in a profession where customers get very angry very quickly over the most minute problems. :S

Sorrow: In addition to the aforementioned arrogant and blindly ignorant people, Murphy's Law is in full effect today.

Joy: After not being able to use it for like... ever, I finally got more of those little plastic ear clips that you use to hold a bluetooth device to your ear and I can now legally drive and talk on the phone again! That's a good thing because I tend to get a lot of calls when driving.

From what I hear.. Everyone.

Joy: Decided to pay for extra summer class.
Sorrow: That means I will not be going out west this summer.
Joy: It's a self-paced online class, so I can grind it as little as 4 weeks if I commit to it.
Joy: 5 weeks until my friend from back home visits me for my birthday; more of a reason to grind out that class.

Joy: Going to be off to the London mcm expo soon! *Explodes from excitement* Gonna be tough though. There is a four mile walk to the pickup point. THAT while laden down with snack and drink filled bags...I just hope it doesn't start raining.

Ultra joy: All assignments finished. YES! NO MORE PAIN!

Sorrow: Being away means leaving the care of the kitten in the hands of the more...incompetent family members. I fully expect him to miss out on at least one meal a day. I'll just have to give him extra fuss when I get back to make up for it!

Joy!: Just finished penultimate exam this morning, just one more on Wednesday and I'm officially on summer break! Haven't felt so free since Christmas. I'm already giddy just thinking about it :D

Small sorrow: Just remembered that I've signed up for a volunteering job and a multitude of service activities this upcoming summer. Less time to goof off... Oh well, selfless service can't be bad.

Go for it anyway dude/dudette! You never know what can happen so you just gotta try!

Anger: I'm kinda ticked at a Zagg.com right now. I got an email saying there was a Memorial Day sitewide sale, so I go to check it out and a ton of their stuff just isn't there. They [can't say this word] removed 70% of their stuff for this "sitewide sale" and not a single thing that I've been looking into getting is there. It's this kind of [another word I can't say] false advertising that will tick me off enough to not buy stuff from you again.
