Joy: now all the Italian translation strips images work. :) Was already known they didn't get lost, it was just a temporally working problem with Google Drive servers, apparently.

Sorrow: It's guest week, and I can't think up a joke to save my life. This will be the third guest week I've missed, I think.

The only idea I had for a strip was a dramatic one involving Crazy Steve, but I'm entirely sure nobody wants any more drama after we literally just got away from the cosmic game arc.

Curse you brain and your inability to comedy! :(

Joy : Aaand I'm in Germany. This hotel is great. The people smile a lot. They don't laugh at the foreigners when they don't know where to go. Ich liebe dieser Platz. (I love this place)

Sorrow: One of my childhood friends died yesterday.

He somehow ended up with mesothelioma, and it took him down very quickly (he was diagnosed a month ago). He was only 30.

He was in the Army, and served in Iraq at one point, but the doctors are still stumped at how fast he got it. At normal rates of progression, he would need to have somehow gotten it at 14.

Go to board index, and click on the last forum in the Housepets box. Every thread in there is a roleplaying game.(Which I sadly know nothing about) One of threads contains rules that will let you know what you can and cannot do.

Well, imagine New York but with slightly less tall buildings. Munich is practically like any big city just every sign is in German and I have only the most basic of knowledge as to what they say. Drivers are a lot more aggressive. Almost got hit by a car the day before Oktoberfest. The subway system is surprisingly easy to follow. Though I mostly just use one line, the U6. When I don't think about it, I tend to forget that I'm in Germany. Probably the most useful thing I know is, "Wir sprechen Englisch." Means "We speak English". Drunk me is a lot more inclined to question and answer in German. Everyone is helpful if you're lost. It's just not as American hating as my friends make it out to be. Oh and not one building I've been in has air conditioning. And it rains like Florida. Every day. But it's a lot cleaner than New York. Oh and Everyone smokes. Everyone. Oh and the hotel I'm staying at is better than any American hotel I've ever been to.

Sorrow: Watched a movie called "Wolf Children" last night and was upset at how it ended.
SPOILER ALERT: Ame, why did you just leave your mother like some sort of unsocial animal!? You're a pack-oriented wolf - not a solitary fox! At least visit her once a month to tell her how things are going!

Joy: Not upset about it today because I came up with a few alternate endings. :P

I attempted to explain why but apparently that came off as an insult.

I have been trying to incorporate Minnesota Nice into my life, but that does not always pan out and sometimes I forget.

I sputtered since 2011, got mostly caught up with the comic and now I'm back. Let's just leave it at that.

Also fox.

I searched all of where I stayed in Germany and where we drove through and nowhere had shoes or didn't have my size. Found some while strolling about in Brussels. There is a story behind why I needed new shoes but it will have to wait.

Also Joy : In Paris

Information about Paris : Got off the train, Went to get a taxi, price was too high, I turn around to go back with friends and guess what. 3 armed guards with FAMAS sub-machine guns patrolling about. Why? fashion week. Which means a whole bunch of people like Ralph Lauren, Louis Vuitton and movie stars. Paris takes fashion VERY seriously.
