I knew that it would come back as something. It ended WAAAAY too soon, though I personally didn't care too much for it.

I always thought it was overrated. Still pretty good, but not as special as it's treated.

Also, I started reading a new comic series called Tooth and Claw (or Autumnlands; there's a bit of a name dispute). It's pretty cool! It involves furries in a dark magical world. It's got some bad language and stuff though.

I am happy to announce that the following webcomics:

Zoophobia

Alpha Luna, The Werewolf Girl

and

The Roomies

are all updating again!

All is right with the world.

Where did you hear this?
Is it by Jhonen Vasquez?
I really liked that cartoon as well as his comic books (I've got all of them).

Official release from Oni Press! And some ominous ads the put out! And yes, Jhonen Vasquez is working closely with Oni on this. For the last 13 years he tried to relaunch the series but decided to go this route instead.

That's good to hear.
I wonder if it's going to be similar to the cartoon or really messed up like his other works...

I had found this beaten up, tiny, albeit colourful graphical novel in my local library called Shark Knife, it sounded funny, not the usually fare that shows up but I gave it a try. To be honest it was different, but in an AWESOME way. It combines asian cooking and shounen action in an amazing style. I loved it, but given it's seemingly unknown status I doubt I'll be able to find the next in the series.

Last time I passingly skimmed Immelmann's stuff, didn't he have another comic going on?

Happy to see he's still doing what he seems to love.

He had 4 at once (Concession was the big one, Ballerina Mafia was almost like a pg-13 version of Housepets!, the heart of it all was basically a spin-off of Concession that became an intro into Ballerina Mafia, and The Order of the Black Dog is a sci-fi horror thriller.)
The Order of the Black Dog is the only one left now, tho'.

Wow, 4 at once huh? Maybe he has new ones lined up after stopping Ballerina Mafia. I also used to read Concessions, the ending was cute after all that happened.

Got all caught up on Poppy O'Possum, great comic.
Now I need to catch up on Slightly Damned
Also started reading one called Commander Kitty... it's alright, I enjoy it.

Some very strange crossover comics are coming out this summer.

Archie Meets Predator

and Archie vs Sharknado

I still can't bring myself to believe this is real...

I'm not even sure who still reads Archie.

But hey. If they wanna go the way of ironic novelty, that's one way to stay relevant. As long as they realize what they're doing.

Didn't the Archie comics end a few years ago?

With Archie's death? I assume that's what it was. I read it somewhere

no, what ended with archie's death was the Life with Archie series. It takes place chronologically after the main series and follows two alternate parallel story lines where he marries Betty and Veronica respectively. The main series where they're all still in high school is still going.

Most of the original Archie comics are good, but the newer stuff- especially Afterlife with Archie- is just stupid. The Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic Universe series make up for it, tho.

EDIT: Recently found a YouTube channel called the Webcomic Relief. He hates furry comics because of the stereotypical focus on sexuality. I'm trying to get him to review Housepets.

That will be a treat then. Show him that not all furry comics are about that.

That feels a little disingenuous, the furry fandom is what it is. Should the HP be reviewed b/c it's clean or b/c it's a great comic?
