Believe it or not, “James while John had had had had had had had had had had had a better effect on the teacher” is a perfectly legitimate sentenc which makes perfect sense!
Here's how to punctuate it to make it clearer:
"James, while John had had “had”, had had “had had”; “had had” had had a better effect on the teacher."
Or to reword it slightly:
"John wrote “had” and James wrote “had had”; The teacher liked “had had” more."

Similar to "Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo?"

Yes, but I can't make head nor tail of the buffalo one. I believe it employs slang or little-known words.

"Buffalo" is an animal, a city, and a verb meaning "to befuddle."

(Buffalo from Buffalo) buffalo the (Buffalo from Buffalo) that (Buffalo from Buffalo) buffalo.

I heard it as (Buffalo from Buffalo) (that (Buffalo from Buffalo) buffalo) buffalo (Buffalo from Buffalo)

and that the verb meant "to bully"
so it was about victims of bullying becoming bullies themselves

Either way, I think we can agree that it's a pretty confusing/odd sentence.

Here's another interesting sentence.
"The Quick Brown Fox jumps over the Lazy Dog."
It contains every letter in the English alphabet.

Now that intrigued me but I am too lazy to check.
Ok here's one, Michael Jackson secretly did the music for Sonic 3, however Sega deny this due to allegations against him at the time. Carnival night sounds like Jam, and the credits is Stranger in Moscow.

The real reason he wasn't credited was because he didn't like how the hardware rendered the sounds. But after his death they admitted to the truth.

The game's soundtrack was pretty excellent, so I'm glad he did it!

Atoms are full of empty space. If the nucleus of a hydrogen atom was the size of a pea and the atom was placed in the centre of the MCG the lone electron would orbit around the entire stadium!

Ants also can detect when an ant is infected with cordyceps and carry them away from the colony to drop them on the forest floor where they will be unable to spread the zombie spores.

I don't think that you have to worry, Sleet. You're not made of chitin.

And killer fungus has been used in horror films.

Rain actually does have a smell. It's known as "Petrichor". During the dry times plants secrete an oil which slows down plant growth and seed germination, increasing their chances of survival until the next wet period. When it rains this oil is washed into the air, that is to say, it is aerosolised, and this is what we detect as the smell of rain, or "Petrichor".

Interstingly the word "Petrichor" comes from two words, "Petra", meaning "stone", and "ichor" which is the blood of the gods in ancient Greek mythology. So when you smell rain, you're smelling the blood of the ground, or the blood of the earth.

Pretty cool, huh?

A van with 209,360 miles on it has an engine that has turned 523,400,000 times and cylinders that have fired a collective 3,140,400,000 times.

This vehicle has consumed over 8,000 gallons of gasoline. Over 30,000 USD worth of fuel. Emitted 71 metric tons of CO2.

The van was purchased in 2006 and only now has the mileage for a trip equivalent to the moon and back.

In 1760s Russian architect Vasilij Bazhenov was tasked with with planning a new grand palace in Moscow's Kremlin. In 1768 - 1770, the project was finished, and then revised by Catherine II herself - the construction plans included demolishing most of Kremlin walls, and moving the surviving parts of it. Technically, the only thing that would have would have been intact were cathedrals inside Kremlin. In 1773 the construction began with supporting the southern slope of the hill, and demolishing a part of the wall and several towers. By 1775, though, it was stopped. Officially - due to damage to one of the cathedrals and risk of the whole palace sliding off the hill down into the river. Some historians also suggest that Catherine herself was reluctant on renovating Moscow itself. In 1778 the demolished part of the wall was re-built.
Now all we have is several paintings, that were made with that project in mind (that is the first project, 1768), Bazhenov's blueprints and an original scale model (1:48), that is now slowly being restorated by Moscow's state museum of architecture.

Yes. Nature was all. Hmm, how about I just make a ball of stuff SOOO big, it has no choice but to explode from its own weight? Explode for billions of years! And when it is done exploding, it can explode again! And then sometimes, if it is feeling really crazy, implode into a singularity.

The trees "walk" up to 15cm a year and the banana itself is classified as a berry.

As in, there is no difference between legacy video and HDMI or there is no difference between Cheap-0 HDMI cables and high-end HDMI cables?

I think Argent is stating that, provided that a signal is sent in digital format, there is no loss of quality if you compare the encoded data to the decoded data if the signal is received in its entirety. However, in terms of transmission distance, properly shielded cables for both digital and analog signals increase the length of wire that can be used, prevent RF leakage and improve SNR. Digital however, also has the advantage of containing error correcting code to make up for lost signal to varying degrees of success.

I mean that when it comes to digital transmission, so long as you get a signal at all, there's no difference between Monster Cable and coat hanger wire.

This is not hyperbole. Someone did a double-blind test between Monster cable and coat hanger wire.

Isn't that cheating? In similar news, we can comfortably fit the entire population of the Earth, about 7 billion and counting, within an area of 500 square miles, provided everyone stood shoulder to shoulder. This area is roughly equivalent to Los Angeles, but we would have to level the city first.
