Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Well considering how old the artifacts most likely are it should actually smell, especially to a dog. And if not the artifacts themselves the boxes could leave a smell on the contents that dogs could pick up on.RandomGeekNamedBrent wrote:if he can actually answer that, that was some smelly gold.
Edit: Also I wonder how close to Chicago Babylon Gardens is?

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
I have a couple of things to say about the current comic:
- Man, Fido sure is looking buff today!
- Last-panel Fido is adorable.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
I already said this, but Fido actually doesn't look buff today.
Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
I guess that saying "money does not smell" is actually a lie.

*gasp* Fido's glasses are missing! He can't wipe the driver's memory with the pen now!

About the alt-text gag:
When Spo wasn't there, I just remembered the last comic of the original art style, when Fido left him in his locker. He was there in "A Sinister Shadow" because Fido was called to that scene in a snap; he was off-duty, if you will.

And I'll ask you the same thing I asked in the comments: Is it someone we know or someone new? Seriously you should be able to say that without spoiling anything.Foxstar wrote:I'm looking forward to who I think is going to appear.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Ok that could mean that whoever it is appeared in the excerpts we got on National Novels Writer Month but that could only be those Coyotes from the Sabrina chapter they were the only new characters I remember. I find it unlikely they would have anything to do with this mystery.Foxstar wrote:New to most of you, old to a few others.IceKitsune wrote:And I'll ask you the same thing I asked in the comments: Is it someone we know or someone new? Edit: though I guess it could be a separate group of them and the one Sabrina met could be talked to for info.
Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Before Sabrina met Tarot and settled in Babylon Gardens, she met a number of folks. Some of them she was quite close to. No, it's not the coyotes.IceKitsune wrote:Ok that could mean that whoever it is appeared in the excerpts we got on National Novels Writer Month but that could only be those Coyotes from the Sabrina chapter they were the only new characters I remember. Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
If you are thinking what I am, Foxstar, then this will be....................... interesting.
I think this has something to do with Thomas and/or Celia Milton. They're greedy enough to want something like this. Although.... the ferrets are interested in shiny things too. If it's THEM, though, there's going to be TROUBLE in BG.
Also, Aztec gold has a propensity for carrying CURSES : might this have some supernatural elements to it as well?

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Unlikely it has anything to do with Thomas for Celia, for reasons which should be clear at the end of the last arc they appeared in.PhoenixAsper wrote:If you are thinking what I am, Foxstar, then this will be....................... interesting.

Gold could carry a curse, maybe if it was not properly removed.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Well, what's to say THAT wasn't what was on the treasure map that Thomas STILL has from the ferrets? And what reasons do you mean? Thomas bailed himself out and went into hiding, Celia simply disappeared. They wouldn't work TOGETHER, likely, but it COULD be one of them.
I was thinking of Pirates of the Caribbean, there.
"Old to some, new to most", huh? Now I'm REALLY not sure, other than the Miltons.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Thank you, you just confirmed for me that one of my ideas was part right, that Tarot is in fact not originally from Babylon Gardens (and for that matter neither is Sabrina apparently) now I just need to know where she was from originally, and if my second part is right and its where the temples are from before Pete's was moved. (and where Dragons still is/where Tarot found her if they shared a Temple)Foxstar wrote:Before Sabrina met Tarot and settled in Babylon Gardens, she met a number of folks. Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Let me see........
1. Thomas Celia Milton are in big doodoo (one of them being in jail still.... I think),
so it wouldn't have to do with them.
Unless the map for he treasure is redundantly old and its Inca gold.
2. Pete is also in big doodoo (perhaps even bigger than humans can imagine) and I find
it unlikely that he would be in a story arc before there is one of him escaping (unless
it come as a flashback in this arc).
In fact, Pete might be interested in Inca gold (anybody who goes into Inca stuff gets to
learn there is a lot of hooda-booda about it), it could have magical properties.
3. when you go into spiritual stuff/esoterics, things like magic crystal skulls and cursed
sacrificial knives is almost impossible to not hear about.
In an (extreme) dire emergency Tarot/Sabrina could have pulled this off (to save the
spirit realm, either for the Humans or for the spirits).
4. Someone we never heard about pulled the heist, but he/she must be real good to steal
from a moving truck.
5. Nine Tailed Fox? Just came up in me, but I wouldn't see what he has to gain from it,
he's too busy playing Universe & Humans and helping Naruto out for this kind of thing.
(Wait..... Naruto is not in this..........is he?)

I really doubt Great Kitsune is involved here. He's a trickster but I don't think he likes to actually screw things up.

Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Well its possible that something in the Artifacts have some importance to the game in some way and they need it. Anything is possible at that this point (some more likely then other I will admit but still possible) since we have nothing to go on other then what Foxstar knows and he might be wrong.Sleet wrote:I really doubt Great Kitsune is involved here. Spo is such a jerk sometimes. I can't wait for more clues I'm going to love trying to figure this out.
Re: ARC 46: The Case of The Aztec Gold
Spo knows what he's doing. He shall be vindicated....
Fido loves the little guy, that's why he's there.
TV shows do indeed tell the truth. Well, it is more interesting than the truth anyway.
Can't wait to see where this goes.
