Okay okay... so we have a sort of Pink Floyd/cold dark moon reference, Fox abiut to die, Sasha being...Sasha, and an adorable flower girl swallowing a pretzel ring.
Also... PEW.
P.S. To those who mentioned the pup... remember that puppies and cubs age differently than humans.

I'll be honest with ya, I was expecting "Space Laser" after the "pew pew" title of the last comic

Oh, yeah; that reminds me. Ms. May on my Wolves calendar this month is a very pregnant lady. It isn't a great photograph, but pregnant wolves are seldom seen in the wild unless they're moving the pack. Or on their way to a wedding.

Either "Air Conditioner" or "Air Conditioning" And for those who live above the AC (Arctic Circle...sorry I couldn't resist...and no, that's not a common ACronym *brick'd*) an Air Conditioner is a device used to chill and dehumidify the indoor air of buildings in warm climates. I am guessing that although it would be somewhat uncomfortable, King will insist on wearing the pants that go with his tux. Poetic justice and all... Bailey is wearing a full dress, so King should be wearing the full outfit. I'm just waiting to see him use the hidden water gun that's embedded in the bowtie.FidoFan wrote:I was wondering if this was going to be a pants or no pants wedding But there's the answer

A few bottles? How much do you think they'll need? Isn't one sip of that stuff enough to give that pup a spasm? Blech. Also, it's been mentioned that the practice ring is just a pretzel. So long as the pup doesn't feel hungry at the ceremony, everything should be fine...wait a minute. What did I just say!?Xane wrote:Better bring a few bottles of ipecac to recover important swallowed items
I don't know why everyone keeps complaining about formal wear being uncomfortable. I think my tux isn't that bad. Then again, I do American Civil War Re-enacting, and my wool uniform doesn't bother me, so maybe I'm not the best judge of discomfort...WeirdGamer wrote:I too can sympathize with Fox. Whoever invents comfortable formal wear will be one of the richest people on the planet.
One last thing; any time I see "pew pew pew" written anywhere, I think of Deputy Enos Strate from the Dukes of Hazzard. There was an episode in which he is seen practicing with his revolver, making the funniest "pew pew pew" noises. It's in that scene that Luke does that thing where he puts his tongue on his nose, which he can be seen doing in the opening credits of each episode.

Wonder why Fox feel hot in the tuxedo. He may be a husky but he wears a bomber jacket instead of a scarf in the winter.
Does Kevin also assume the wrong meaning of what a bridesmaid should do?
Darth Vader Sanchez is now official for the third wolf cub. And he is a boy as opposed to what fandom imagine otherwise. The little cub is squee!

So far the church rehearsal seems rather tame. Just wait for the actual wedding. Not just the "McCoys and Hatfields" between the police K9 and wolves, A few cats will be there. I suspect Zack and Spo will be there too. Now that we have new wolf cubs... who may have never interacted with the cats, or rabbit.... and a mouse wondering around too... the wedding will be total chaos. Oh, and what if Pete throws in something totally random?
Now I think Pete actually planned this all out as a way to get the pets more rights in the human world. Or... it totally backfires on him when the swat team is called out.

Now I wonder if Fox should be honored or embarassed to be best man? Of all of his life, did he ever expect to be best man? Dog? *throws papers* Whatever, it's awesome
Sasha is the bridesmaid? seems Bailey took a interest in her fast. wonder if she knows that's who Fox was hypothetically talking about =P talk about bestman/bridesmaid awkward funny.
Panel 3 is godly cute. But then again, I should've expected Rick to weaponize newborns right off the bat.

As for the wolf cubs, this could get interesting

Actually, this name has been in use for a bit now. It's the alt text over Miles cubs in the cast page, and since we already know of Death Axe and Rockstar Hawk, it would be rather safe to assume the third pup is Darth Vader Sanchez.Spens wrote:I take it 'Darth Vader Sanchez' is the pup formerly known as 'Rockstar Hawk.'
Which reminds me, I don't think we've seen this particular pup with a speaking role before. Eh, look through the archives later.
Re: 2012/05/08 - If We Hearse Now...
Meh, don't get mad, I wasn't complaining, just remarking the odd age difference though you made it clear remarking the weirdness of the comic (one more time XD). At least I presume she isn't able to talk yet?rickgriffin wrote:Grow up HOW fast? The equivalent stage for dogs here is "walking around and getting into trouble with everything" which I presume was at the two week mark. I am fudging development a bit because I wanted her to be flower girl, but I don't think it's too far off.
Besides, animal development in Housepets is weird. You don't have to question it so strenuously.
Well, I'm not sure about this but he certainly is the most shortest of the cubs as we can see here.rickgriffin wrote:DV Sanchez is not quite as tall as he appears here, he's shorter than King. Also, for the most part, I'm not doing strict aging up or age tracking in the comic's run unless it's necessary for the plot, such as Rodney and Snow's cub here.
Well, the tag say "Rodney's cub", so it's more likely to be only this one.Render wrote: I wonder how many they are...

Really? I thought it was clear that the three were boys, or are you referring to Honorable Intentions fanfiction?kavviyenta wrote:Darth Vader Sanchez is now official for the third wolf cub. And he is a boy as opposed to what fandom imagine otherwise. The little cub is squee!
Now I have a question: Anyone knows what's the dark shape on the left corner in the first panel?

He could be referring to Valerio's fanfic as well.Gren wrote:Really? I thought it was clear that the three were boys, or are you referring to Honorable Intentions fanfiction?
Also, I think Rodney and Snow's cub is cute too.

Ignore that, I dunno where people got the idea that they weren't all male. the third panel here suggests otherwise, unless of course Rockstar Hawk is actually female.

Alright who wants to see their bachelor party. Place your bets on what you think will happen. I bet ether it's two or three strips with jokes or king gets drunk and spills the beans about being Joel. I still think that fox has known for a long time and knows king/Joel really views him as a friend.
Play The Hayseed Knight. This isn’t self promotion, I just really like the game.

I notice Kaviyyenta said Fandom...
I wonder if that was the only cub. Yes, the tag said cub, but that is only because on cub is shown... if they all showed up, then the plural form would be used, if there are indeed more.
I wish my church were more like this one! Talking animals running around wreaking havoc...

You know, there's a specific thread for this (just saying if you don't know).Legotron123 wrote:Alright who wants to see their bachelor party. Place your bets on what you think will happen. Then how can you explain this comic? There is only one cub but the tag is in plural.copper wrote:I wonder if that was the only cub. Yes, the tag said cub, but that is only because on cub is shown... if they all showed up, then the plural form would be used, if there are indeed more.

that's because Miles' cubs first appeared as a group, and it's easier for Rick to use a pre-existing tag then to make a new one. It's the same reason "Joey's Creepy Friends" is still used despite only one of them being unnamed.Gren wrote:You know, there's a specific thread for this (just saying if you don't know).

Then everybody draws laser weapons of some kind or another, more imperial forces arrive, ewoks nd wookies join the fray, and this song plays as the battle starts:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aet9wYHaufk
You can imagine the results.

There's going to be trouble here
at the wedding of Bailey and King.
There's going to be wolves in
the ceremony, and one, in cheer,
Has gone and swallowed the ring!
What more can go wrong
apart from a frozen Vicar?
I hope that, with cops and Jack
together, King's got a good ticker...
and checked where Jack got the liquor.

There's an Internet rule that every spelling flame has to have a speeling mistake in it.
