Title Text: growing old is compulsory, caring what others think is optional

Ah, Jata, you know just what to say to make the perfect first impression.

Ah, the forum link stole the "must be said" joke. Aww.

Still, Uncle Deadeye sure is being awesome today. Even moreso than usual.

Love how candid Miles is about it.

Is Uncle Deadeye giving Jata a facepalm there?

Uncle Deadeye. A more fearsome name than Jata.

Rick discovered an alarming rate of cat readers since introducing Jata.

My cat won't stop laying on my lap!

I knew Jata was big, but not That big! He makes Miles look so small by comparison.

Uncle Deadeye is an excellent judge of character

Uncle Deadeye seems to have a lot of potential as a character. Maybe I'll include him in my not-so-secret project.
Now the question becomes, where would I fit him in?

Panels 2, 3, & 4: Ahhhh, the wonders of layering. Someone should do an animated GIF:

Arm goes up

arm goes down

arm goes up

arm goes down.

(with Homer Simpson narrating)

This was drawn entirely physically. You can animate the panels if you want but the ink lines won't match up.

Not a single facial muscle moved in the last 3 panels. XD I wonder what will happen if this escalates.

Awww... Oh well... But it's really cool that you draw "manually" like that. I'm decent with my colored pencils, but I have a hard time keeping shapes consistent between drawings.

Well what I've started doing in these cases is a lightbox transfer, though only for the sketch; shine a light under the paper, trace the image onto a card, then trace the card onto the next panel.

I think the female feline population of BG would go extinct if they could see Jata now; the blood loss would be too great.

In addition, that Gecko is by far one of the most hilarious things I have seen in a while, and hence may need to be stolen as an avatar

One wise Wolf will say
'No one fresh to this season
shall order my clan.'
-------------------------------------------------------------------
The noble Jata stretches his luck
with his guards of Wolven grace
until he pushes it a bit too far
and ends with paw on his face.

Uncle Deadeye is a judge of character
and a silent hunter of silent pride.
Does he see something in Jata we don't?
Can this fellow turn popularities tide?

Is the shirt free Jata here all that he seems?
Does Sabrina know of his dreams?
What will that mean for Sabrinas new 'date'?
What will be the unlucky cats fate?

I really love how Dissenssion chose to abuse of a forum running gag for today's link text!

I didn't know that Uncle Deadeye was blind on BOTH eyes, though. And he is either also mute, or really quiet.
TheWolfKin wrote:Ah, the forum link stole the "must be said" joke. Aww.

Uncle Deadeye is the beefiest blind individual character I've seen in quite a while!

Alright, but only because Rick asked.
*Throws a bowling ball which, by complete chance, falls on top of Rick's rules, breaking them in three places.*

Morris kind of said that a few strips ago, with meaner words. I like Morris!
