Anyway, it's a webcomic written and drawn by an artist with the pen-name "Chu". In one of the pages where we learn more about the angelic culture in that universe, one of the examples of "swearing" in their language was using the phrase, when translated, "you son of a charming young woman".
Huh...so he did. Good memory. I completely forgot about that. xDTheWolfKin wrote:max7345 wrote:

Though, we also have King using the line back in 2011 during the Not All Dogs arc.
Pretty sure it was just coincidence - it's a decent, funny way to avoid a swear. I'd have to look for the page itself, compare dates, and (assuming you made the quote first) ask the artist herself to really get to the bottom of it though.rickgriffin wrote:Wait, did Chu borrow that from me or was that just a coincidence?

SD Page 553 @ October 31st 2012, vs. HP #42 Not All Dogs: Did it Hurt @ May 2nd 2011. Considering the large gap, I'm going to guess coincidence.

Ah...and it seems I was mistaken, as well. It was "you son of an ugly woman" in SD. Sorry about that.Phlosioneer wrote:SD Page 553 @ October 31st 2012, vs. HP #42 Not All Dogs: Did it Hurt @ May 2nd 2011. Considering the large gap, I'm going to guess coincidence.

That's how the cookies crumble, Fido. That's how the cookies crumble.
I don't completely agree. There are just somethings that everyone are afraid to share with their inner most circle of friends and etc. Heck I have ONLY ONE true friend and I'm afraid to tell him things like that I'm a Brony and a furry. Because I don't know what will happen. I've known him since the first grade in 1999 and we both graduated high school back in 2011. We've been best friends for over a decade and I'm afraid of telling him things about me he doesn't even know. Out of fear of what will happen, this is how I feel that Fido felt like.valerio wrote:...At this point, Fido really should spend the next three weeks alternating sweet snuggles with kicking his own butt for not trust his squadmates on this issue. he can't even kill Bino, because he chose not to trust Ralph and the others.
I love the ambiguity of Ralph's statement about saving bruises and paperwork: it may either mean that the K9U could have helped Fido or stopped him before he even showed up at the wedding. True fair cop^^
Well, it was exactly 6 months ago that Pete gave his one year ultimatum to King. We're halfway there people!Stuff. wrote:Cookie for me. Majora's Mask is the best.Mekiota wrote:Dawn of the final year. Six months remain.

Not quite sure what you're talking about, though :U

AND he's got a stain on his curriculum. AND he still got to suffer Bino's taunts for a long time to come. AND there's still the matter with Jata.Welsh Halfwit wrote:He's 'down' because he now knows fully that he let Ralph and the squad down.Ryusuta wrote:Why's he look so down? Huh...now that I look at this page and the current one back-to-back, it's interesting to see how much the styling has changed in that five-year gap.Ryusuta wrote:https://www.housepetscomic.com/2008/09/ ... everybody/
Hard to believe that THIS has finally fully come out. And incidentally, I totally FORGOT that Grape and Peanut already knew. Go figure!
Oh...six months 'tll he's human again.Mekiota wrote:Well, it was exactly 6 months ago that Pete gave his one year ultimatum to King. We're halfway there people!Stuff. wrote:Cookie for me. Majora's Mask is the best.Mekiota wrote:Dawn of the final year. Six months remain.

Ralph was BORN professionalSilly Zealot wrote:Wow, everyone seems to react with even less surprise than I expected!
Even though Ralph has always been pretty professional, I still find it strange that he is behaving so professionally in a private conversation with Fido.
Weren't they best buddies? Why does is Ralph so distant, then?
At any rate, it's not over until the fat lady sings....... or the word "end." appears in the strip.
...or six months 'til he gets his lion butt kicked for good. GO KINGY!!!Gamewolf67 wrote:Oh...six months 'tll he's human again.
Not necessarily. Sure, Bino will enjoy torturing his brother out of the Club (provided Fido has not become a true hero for the pool stunt by then), but now Fido can love Sabrina without any fears for his job as cop anymore. PLUS, he may get to become best buddy with Peanut and Grape, yay!^^Acritic2 wrote:I don't think we need Tarot to know bad times are coming for Fido and Sabrina

I wonder if we'll see a Mighty, Marble-muscled, Moggy Maxwell soon? (Marble stone, not Marble toy)valerio wrote:Kevin was too busy chiseling Maxwell into a mighty stone god!
I wouldn't say that so quickly. He still has Fox and Bino to deal with, and Rick hasn't said this is the end yet.Hukley wrote:So everything's OK on Fidos side (All's well that ends well) Now I can't wait to see Jata again
He's clearly a no-nonsense sort of police dog that takes his work seriously. It's a pretty understandable character, the way I see it.TheOne wrote:This strip makes me wonder if Ralph is some kind of robot or something. I get that he was suspicious, but he seems so... hollow...
Don't get me wrong; I think he's a good character and has good morals. I just don't see any compassion or emotions. (except his anger when he flipped out at the wedding...)
No, no... he's referencing the trope of dogs chasing cats. He's always been a bit "simple," so he doesn't quite understand what a strange romance like Fido's and Sabrina's would entail.I really don't get Kevin's question. It could be my headache messing with me, but the "chasing" doesn't make sense. (man, my head feels like I've been hit for real...)
Is it that Kevin is assuming Fido likes Sabrina for the exercise?
Not to mention, didn't Rick posted a drawing on facebook of Tarot that sorta hints that Fido and Sabrina are going to be okay?valerio wrote:Not necessarily. Yes, and also Kevin...Kitch wrote:I'm surprised Ralph's okay with it. In fact, it almost sounds like he wishes Fido had told him sooner.
I don't think that Fox really has such a big problem with Fido's relationship with Sabrina. Him not liking 'catlovers' was just following Bino in the past. Probably he will fine with the relationship itself, if he thinks about it, and he has had a little time already. There will be a bigger problem with the fact that Fido didn't inform him earlier.Kitch wrote:I wouldn't say that so quickly.
