Well, at least we now know that Baily's actually getting dragged into this, so we can put the speculation to rest (and by rest, I mean: "to work on other things"). Of course, there's always the "it was just a dream" sequence, but I don't really feel we're going that way.

Pete is just the most perfect character.

There is already a lot of tension here and we haven't even gotten far at all.

Again I must reiterate that waiting for updates with this one is probably going to hurt.

Yeah, no point in hiding the game. But will the full truth come out is the question. It seems that everyone has something to lose at the moment; King's relationship, Bailey's trust, and Pete's dignity (dude, don't try to make yourself sound better, you come off a little as a nerd).

Well, to be fair: A little bathing and brushing your beak probably would go ways there, Pete. =P

Wow. Kay. THis isn't going good. This may be the worst arc ever in Housepets!.

I don't really know what to expect here, though I am sad to see the cosmic nerds go, if they are as has been said. Given some vocal people's displeasure about the theme, I had hoped that the most dramatic parts could be resolved with the ideas kept, even if more minor or sidelined. Either way I doubt the comic will disimprove, I'd just miss them some.

I'm torn. I want Bailey to know, but I don't want Pete to have the pleasure. Ugh.

Things are getting interesting. I wonder how Bailey will react once the truth comes out?

That doesn't work out so well when Pete can tell her he's lying.

And then he could use Pete's own argument that "he's canine now"

Im not saying watching Bailey screaming uncontrollably would be funny ... Neither I'm saying the contrary

Did I mention that I don't really take any of the Cosmic Nerds' sides? I mean, what would happen at the end of the game? What happens to the loser's avatar if his/her job is done? Would the loser's avatar die?

Although I'm a bit late for this, does anyone have a dislike for some of the Milton Ferrets? I mean, they basically just throw stuff around and SOMEHOW they stick for them, and in a good way for them!

Meanwhile, Everybody else gets the stick

I'm terrible curious how this will continue. Why isn't it Monday already?

All this speculation about King revealing the truth to Bailey caused this little sequence to pop into my head.

Bailey: Wait, you were human once and Pete turned you into a dog? How is that even possible?

I really wouldn't put it past Pete to do something just like that either.

Maybe the win condition is to destroy the enemy temple.

There are five itens in the Game, the Players, the Avatars, the Monsters, the Temples and the Followers.

The players cast spells based on Mana. But they can't act too much.
The avatars cast spells based on Mana.
The monsters are summoned by the players based on Mana.
Followers grant Mana.
And the temples are the Main Bases.

Their first act in the game was to summon their temples. So it's the main objective.

(Also, I think that fits well, Pete choosing Lex Keene Luthor as his Avatar. He could now hire Bino too for his side)

I love that, for once, my speculations are alongside the lines of what everyone else is thinking.

Bailey's GOING to find out, I think. How that happens is debatable. How she'll react is also up for debate.

Ugh. My heart hurts too much to handle all of Pete's evil.

I can completely see John de Lancie (think Q) doing Pete's voice for "Housepets!: The Animated Series".

Looks like King has got a lot of explaining to do.
