Title Text: SORRY I DIDN'T MEAN IT

Hah, I love Pete's room. Kinda hits home the nerdy teenager thing. Mmm, Doritas.

I need that Tshirt.
The changing design would save so much room in my dresser

also, adoption jokes between pets is the same as "your mom" jokes between siblings. They just don't work right.

I understand it's very difficult to find earpieces for ears like Pete's.

Is Pete's t-shirt just changing on a whim? That's freaking awesome! It's...

...Isn't that just the Shirt Tales? (I SERIOUSLY doubt anyone will get that reference without looking it up.)

See? Pete is just adorable. He's your average young guy.

Also, I really enjoy the "DND" sign on the door. I'm not sure about its utility, though.

Well, that didn't work, did it?

*reads alt-text*

Okay, now it's pretty funny!

And apparently they have both the board and online version of the game. Might be a tad overkill.

But then you would have to wash the same shirt everyday. And if you're traveling and the place for some reason doesn't have a washer, it'll show eventually.

Ya know... with the messy rooms and amount of posters hanging around, mabye Pete and the other demigods are like a bunch of teenagers, using real people as pawns for their game, but not having a clue what kind of disruption they could cause, which could cause worldwide disaster!!! :o

Too much...?

No, we freely acknowledge the U&U players are the immortal equivalent of teenagers. Great Kitsune is probably game master 'cause the full group meets in his parents' basement or something. :3

Still a jerk, just on a new computer,
the 'godly' voice she hears keeps her on her toes.
Sitting, as he is, in his room,
Chugging Cola and eating near-Doritos.
It's all a game of COD to them,
uninvolved in the dreams of their pawns.
If he'd watched he'd know she can't cuss
Tarot – she doesn't know her well. It dawns
faster than Pete can change a shirt.
Spreading his wings, the guy looks cute
and a match for the noble opposition,
but I hope he'll soon get the boot
and reduced in power by the Dragon.

Petes mom: PETE! I need you to take out the trash!!

Pete: Moooooom! Im in the middle of a life or death battle that ive been preparing eons for and am in top form right now! If Dragon wins ill have to spend a mortal body for a mortal lifespan, then NO ONE will be able to take out the trash for you! Is that what you want!?

(Sorry i can just imagine him doing that)

*points to Pete* Ladies and Gentlemen, the perfect example of a well trained, sense heightened, computer chair athlete!

And yes lovely poem as usual WH!

Second Panel looks like Pete grew some rooster hair. Took me awhile to figure out that's his wing. X3

... I know they are teenagers, but... the more I read into the comic, the more I realize it's not easy trying to have immortal beings have the sense of a teenager shown since we commonly believe they are suppose to be all-knowing, but some readers (like myself) can't rid that feeling or excuse that they should use that time or immortality to rid themselves of the teenage era that they'd grow up from it by now. But without it, the fun theme of the comic would be gone since every god would be strict.

For a ultimate duel, Pete sure is relaxed. :|

Well you would be if you had an avatar doin everything for you. Hehehe. Anyways hes got it made. He and Dragon get to sit back in their chairs relax and just give random orders. Its the good life.

I wonder if the fact that the 'DND' sign is on his side of the door means he's not allowed to leave his room?

It will most likey be okay except forthe burden of no subjective time. Who knows though.

Except that, to them "worldwide" doesn't extend much farther than the borders of an ant colony, since they have an infinite number of low-order universes to pick from

Eons to Pete is probably like a few days. A mortal life span is a few hours maybe. She can have him take out the trash when he gets back :P

True. Though there is that lack of subjective time as a mortal. I doubt hell be in the mood when he gets back from that.

Meh, I got over Dragon wearing pants pretty quickly. Pete certainly looks good in pants, so... I guess it's fine. >_>

I find the sign's double meaning to be pleasantly humorous.

Or his end of his and Bailey's conversation is just a phone call.

Judging by the look of his arm in panel 2, Pete may not be such a monstrous apparition after all.

Wait, When Did Universal and Unrealities suddenly become a Computer game??? And Since... Never mind, I forgot about the Cosmic Convention.

And why no Half-Life? Or Dota?? Or Fallout 1, Fallout 2 or Fallout Tactics???

And what would the cosmic Nerds look like in TF2 attire?

Us teenagers like to stay teens for as long as we can, we're not looking forward to growing up just yet (well, except for me). Plus, their "all-knowingness" is just like any person that knows all the rules to a game, and to them, this universe is just part of a game. And due to their wonky "subjective time" thing, the recent centuries (or further) might just be their teenager faze. It might take thousands upon thousands of mortal years for them to grow out of it. Not to mention that "all-knowing" would just mean that they're "know-it-all's"! Eh? eeeEEEEEEEEeeeehhhhh????

Don't forget, it's all symbolic. If Pete really was playing an FPS with Bailey as his avatar he'd have materialized a better rig than that.

"And what are the nacho chips a symbol of?"

"They're a symbol of I'm hungry, now taunt her again!"

I can assure you that Pete has nothing to do with the "Funday Pawpet Show"! FPS is a happy go lucky, four hours of jolly fun, and Pete is an arrogant self centered son of a ..... Oh, wait, you mean that other FPS? Oh, Well, that makes more sense then. Never-mind! (Sorry, can't resist an opportunity for ether free publicity or a chance to reference the Late Great Gilda Radner.)

Wonder if Pete eats Spicy Ambrosia or Cool Ranch Nectar Doritas?
