Re: Can you drive?
Yes. I've gone through 2 cars and am on my third. It sucks. Had a great jeep with a/c. T-boned at an intersection, rolled. Total loss. Like a rollercoaster I didn't know I wanted to ride. It was a terrifyingly fun experience.
Re: Can you drive?
I don't like the thought of me driving a car at all.
Yeah, I get it, it's important in life, but there is always ways around it by relying on your own home vehicle. I have to rely on others and I have busses, but I can work that out on my schedule.
I could drive boats and bikes, though. Ironically, no one wants me to touch neither, so I don't know how to win in this situation. =3

Yes, but I don't enjoy it.
Douglas isn't my real name, but because of a name block put on me by a higher-order being known as Djinni, I can't say my real name.

Nope, neither do I plan to, the way I drive in simulations can prove why.
Did you know my friends call me "The Great Pontificator"! Or was it "The Great Time Waster"?

I've driven over 100,000 miles without an accident, speeding ticket or traffic violation. I can also drive a boat.

All joking aside, I just stumbled across this video and it really touched me. Make sure the English subtitles are on to watch it.
Those of you here that can drive, please, please drive safely. We've already lost one forumite due to a car accident and I'd absolutely hate to lose any more.

Re: Can you drive?
Yeah, I can drive. I have a driver license for five years and I'm allowed to drive a car.
I also passed national exam for motorcycle last week. Now I wait for my new driver license, so I'll be allowed to legally drive a car and motorcycle on public roads.
Though I recently use my bike mostly. I save on petrol. And I also get rid of fat from my whack body.

I drive. I love to go places but I hate to drive. I am either stressed by being surrounded by crazy people who barely know how to drive or bored to tears on long trips on the highway. I prefer being a passenger because I can watch the scenery or read a book.

Re: Can you drive?
I've been regularly driving for 31 years, probably have half a million miles of experience, and only once have I ever had a speeding ticket - for doing 35 in a 25 zone. It still makes me mad to think about. Also, I hardly ever notice bad drivers around me except when I'm a passenger. The only time I've had a crash was when an old man in a hat blew through six lanes of traffic and tagged me when I was making a left turn on my green arrow. That happened in 1990. I pull a 30-foot camper with my Chevy Avalanche and I can back it up into most camping spots. I also drive (and sometimes race at the track) a 430 RWHP Trans Am, and ride motorcycles on the street and ride dirt bikes through the woods. I drive in sand, snow, sleet, and on ice, during the day and night.
Fun-loving by birth, Honorable through upbringing, Brave by necessity.

Its strange because before I started driving, I was terrified of the highway. Especially since people over here practice offensive driving
Re: Can you drive?
I don't mind driving.
I have to commute to my university because
money!
It gives me a great opportunity to listen to my albums again.

Try brainless driving.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Its strange because before I started driving, I was terrified of the highway. Especially since people over here practice offensive driving
I live in a very tourist heavy area during the summer, and what's the one thing that tourists love to leave at home? Common sense. And I work in the area that draws more tourists than any other in the state. And the major road to get around in that area is a three lane highway with lots of traffic lights.
A trip that normally takes 10 minuets in the winter can take upwards of 40 on a bad day in the summer. Maybe even an hour on (Summer) holidays.

Re: Can you drive?
I understand. I live in a town that is both a tourist town and a college town. Mustangs and SUVs being driven by people who have no consideration for others. Not that they would care if they have an accident because they have more money than common sense.JeffCvt wrote:Try brainless driving.Amazee Dayzee wrote:Its strange because before I started driving, I was terrified of the highway. Re: Can you drive?
Was driving in Oklahoma. Highways speed limit is 65-70 in the city, everyone was up around 80-85 and the cops didn't bat an eye. Also Texas. Offensive driving abound there. Same here but slightly less here in Kansas.
