I don't know exactly. But I would say that you are on the safe side when you orientate on the comics dimensions. I would say it's no problem if you make it higher when needed. Idea: King(or any character) gets heckled by a Housepets! version of Salem Saberhagen, but then they realize they are both humans turned into animals.

Panel 1:
On the aircraft headed for home, K&B can be seen chatting, Fox is staring out the window, Rock and Cameron are going over the tapes. Karishad is seen rummaging through his luggage.
Panel 2:
Focus on Karishad, who is now making mittens with crochet hooks. A confused random passenger stares at him.
Panel 3
Passenger: Ok, I have to ask...
Karishad: I always wanted to act out the song.
Passenger: The song?
Panel 4:
Karishad: I'm weaving on a jet plane.
The passenger repeatedly hits his head on the nearest seat back...

I actually have a guest strip idea involving pie.
