Title Text: ''I am not made of stone. Oh wait, yes I am.'' --Gargoyle, probably
Keene seems de-light-ed with Zach's ability! *bricked*
I love Keene's face in that last panel! He looks like he's trying his hardest not to laugh!

Oh no - Karishad is rubbing off on Keene! The world is ending!
Zach's holding Jessica pretty close...
I wonder if Tiger ate Zach's portion of Thanksgiving dinner?

I thought I would never see the time when Zach dons a threatening expression. I guess everyone has a breaking point.
Funny, at first he seemed so light on his feet *ducks and hides*

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
And Jess missed the miracle. Although I am worried by the low esteem Zach seems to hold for himself.
Holding tight to the lady he does(n't) love
and giving voice to his vicious self-doubt,
Zach bitterly accepts the accusation
that he has the power to get them out.
Without hearing Pete lost his power,
Zach lately learns to see the light -
a trick Jess has just missed seeing;
she missed her wimp winning the fight.
She missed seeing his great, glowing, foot,
she missed his furious, furred, face.
He'll probably downplay her 'dead' reaction;
he'll help her gather her scattered grace.

Poor Zach, he must be such under stress to think of himself in such terms
Well, at least Keene has (rightfully) proven him that he isn't useless.
Though I am puzzled: How the heck did Zack retain his power, and in such measure, since Dragon can't even back up Sabrina's and Tarot's power anymore? Hmmm....

If I recall from "Temple Crashers", Sabrina said something about a boost and augment to their skills as classes, so since he was once a cleric perhaps he managed to bear some of those skills still.valerio wrote:Poor Zach, he must be such under stress to think of himself in such terms

And the influence of Karishad spreads like the plague.
The puns from the forum are now beginning to seep into the comic and infect all.
The horror!!!

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Thank you Karisha, I see Keene has been learning a thing or two from you. Love his expression in the last panel.
I guess Zach is light on his feet when it comes to arguing.
Don't hurt me...
Oh, wait, that has been used so I should be ok.
I love the way Zach is holding Jess, and I bet he is glad she fainted and couldn't see him. Just imagine how much teasing he would get over that.
I wonder what will happen with Zach as the opener. Better have something happen, otherwise what is the point of a comic.

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Jess is really good at playing dead.
I saw her in that last panel and immediately thought "wow, Jess looks pretty ******* dead..."
Edit:
Oh, and Rick's art has improved significantly since this was last done.

I'm really surprised: it doesn't look anywhere near as good now as it did when it came out...

Your right Rick has improved amazingly over the years. These last few strips with Zach and Jess covered in mud in a forest at night have been magnificently done.
Now who will be bricked next?

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Sometimes I wonder if Tarot's strange prophecy was or wasn't about the day Zack has a nervous breakdown... I used to think it was the end of the game, but now I call that into question for two reasons.
1. The game isafoot over. (dodges bricks)
2. Zack apparently has some sort of access to latent power. What if he were to use the rest of it all at once, perhaps unintentionally?

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Hmm. Gotta ask, did I miss something, or is there a reason they started calling Pete "Cookie Monster"?
Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Cookie monster was Keene's code name for him. Because he's a serious ferret and code names are serious business.
Also, Keene is looking more human than I've ever seen him, particularly in the last panel. I guess it takes the threat of being eaten by a gargoyle to get him to show an ordinary emotion.

So....a rabbit foot doesn't bring you luck, but gives you the ability to cast light?
I should remember that, could come in handy
It really looks like Keene does his best not to laugh about the situation.
I bet Jess will wake up and believe it was just a dream, poor Zach

Pete reincarnated as Foot confirmed.
Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
So he got to keep the powers. That's nice, but it's hard to light a way when you're having to use one foot at the guide.
Yeah, Keene, hang around someone enough, you start to pick up some things, for better or worse.

Cause I'm not seeing another one in the comic itself.

Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
Zach, you got a power! You're useless? Think better of your possibilities, maybe you can find new hidden ones. Keene just thought correctly about you to block the gargoyle, but there has also been a bit of luck in this. Nice one, Keene. Speaking of powers, Karishad's pun power is contagious.

I always thought they are good for each other. Keene is way too serious and Kari does his best to lighten him up a bit, maybe that's the reason why I was secretly shipping them... erm, I mean it was a secret until nowdtlux1 wrote:Thank you Karisha, I see Keene has been learning a thing or two from you. Not necessarily. Until now no one of the forest critters (not even Jess) has seen him perform this light spell... *sits down with a bucket of popcorn and waits for the mandatory coincidental passing forest creature*GameCobra wrote:Poor Zach. Re: 2014/11/28 - No Time For Gargoyles
So, did that "Kck-Kykck" sound mean that the Gargoyle is back to stone, or is it being destroyed by the light? If either, it's a shame. I was really looking forward to seeing the Opener of Ways having an Army of Gargoyles at his command.
Also, why do I suddenly have this image of Pete Nomming on a jar full of Cookies now?
