Housepets!

So, thanks to Dylan, I decided to make this thread. It's true that I want to be able to discuss Sofa Wars with other Housepets forumites, but to take a whole thread just for that purpose seems........superfluous. So, instead, this thread is devoted to all of the webcomics created by forum members! If you want me to add yours, PM me the link and the update days, and I'll take care of the rest. Otherwise, feel free to discuss any of these comics.

I DO follow the comic, after all.
As of yet, no one has sent me anything, so it's just these three.
Also, Dylan, I FINISHED MONDAY'S COMIC, SO I WILL BE UPDATING ON TIME.

Comic artists, what advice have you for someone thinking about maybe perhaps starting a new comic, possibly?

That depends on how much work you want to put into it. If you want to have a snazzy, aesthetic-pleasing site with brilliantly designed comics, budget in a monthly payment on a domain name and a hosting plan (only the ones that you actually have to pay for provide you with good features). Then you need to get wordpress and comicpress, both of which are free, and download them. Those two are the common programs used to design webcomic sites. Then get Photoshop, flash, illustrator, or some other really good computer program to draw on, and an art tablet. The rest is drawing and uploading.
This is the way I do it: there are plenty of webcomic hosting communities out there that will allow you to post your comic for free, as long as you have an account with them. The simplest way to draw the comics then is to hand-draw them and scan them in to your computer (not even scan, you can just take a photo of them is the camera is hi-res), and use a photo editing program to do touch ups. I use GIMP, because it's free, and easy to use.
In regards to plotline, you take care of that the way you usually do: sit down, come up with a couple of characters, the situation they're in, the setting to accompany that situation, and run with it.
If you can't draw, you can always make sprite comics. Sprite comics, as you are probably already aware, are comics created by taking SNES style pics and pasting them together to make a comic. There are plenty of sprites around the internet, and despite the fact that some people consider them the scum of online art, they're pretty popular.

Here comes my sad attempt to revive this thread... I've finally got my webcomic "Daily Doom" up and running. Once I get the first arc done I'll be doing updates once a week.
