"What Grinds My Gears" is basically a way of saying "what makes me angry/annoyed". The point of this simple game is to come up with something clever, funny, silly or whatever you want (as long as it is appropriate) and put it at the end of "What Grinds My Gears". I'll start.

WGMG: When I've rung up a full shopping cart's worth of stuff and the customer can't or won't pay for it, leaving me with a lot of stuff to put back and scrambling to find the manager to cancel the transaction. XP

WGMG: When people criticize other people by saying "You need to quit making fun of people! You need to be nice and constructive!" yet they themselves make fun of people or they support or are friends with someone who makes fun of people.

WGMG: People misusing apostrophies. Especially on plural words. For Dragon's sake, it makes me wanna take a can of tip ex and a peremenant marker and go round the country correcting every incorrect apostophie in existance.

In literature:

- Stories without a plot
- Stories that lack relatable characters or that kill them off without closure
- Excessive vulgarity (do we really need to promote further vulgarity in an already vulgar world? Why not promote decorum and intelligent thought? The world is sorely lacking in those.)
- Irrelevant tangents: Descriptions, dialogue, scenes, etc. that don't play into character or scene/plot development.

Yes I get it, your effects are pretty and you can make big explosions. I DON"T CARE. I've seen them so many times that THEY'RE GETTING BORING. I came here for an interesting story.
