Because King looked like that was the worst piece of news he had to talk about. Of course, the pup is scared, this is WAY a new thing in his life. Heck, most people would freak out. Zach is forgiven. And you need to talk with the wolves, King. They never failed to give you good advice

A: "My words ran ahead of my thoughts" , B: No, if anything it showed that he knew less , C: Because this is Bailey we're talking about, she also thought she'd already told him. She'd probably had been really calm about it even then if she had. D: Because that's a cliche, and he probably did that internally when he dropped their food.

Trust me, the babies are King's. Only way they would not be is if it was a soap opera and then King would have an affair and they would get married and divorced multiple times.
