Kevin looks kind of different for some reason, but I can't put my claw on it.
EDIT: I think it's the lack of collars that's throwing me off. They sort of do look naked without them, even though they're dressed. o.0

Only issue against that is that airsoft guns, and pretty much all false/toy guns need that brightly colored barrel.

Well Rick's Facebook did say it was their Halloween costumes only. I really think we should start a petition to make these their action new K-9 uniforms. I think Blll Lindberg would approve.

Then they need to have a word with whoever they got those guns from, as the orange barrel is a safety feature and a law. Unless they're real guns with the clips removed. And yes, I know I'm thinking way too much into it.

Per Rick, the weapons in the picture are pepper ball guns. I don't really think this is something to engage in pedantry over, however. It would be entirely possible that the laws enacted in the United States of America in our universe were never written in the Housepets! world.

Maybe they were ordered from a non-US manufacturer and the shop owner is negligent? And now for some reason I'm picturing Fido and Kevin as Alex Murphy and John Cable.
(the original silver armored and black armored versions of Robocop, back before the remake gave Cable's casing to Murphy for no reason.)
