Also, is it bad that I'm suddelny wondering whether there was enough gold to go around in 4000 BC for all the dog/cat jewelry we're seeing?

What is that hat exactly? I think its a Fez but it doesn't look completely right. Also I can tell we are going to have tons of fun with this guy.

definitely not a fez. it looks closer the the headgear worn by pharaohs. or it's an upside down pitcher of some sort.

Umm... an Egyptian like crow, and someone pointed last strip Ptah is also the name of an Egyptian God, and then is also the sacred thing of cats for the Egyptian people. Maybe this Ptah had to do with all that

Late Neolithic, could be copper. About 5000 BC (which is when they are) is just about when smelting started and copper started to become readily available.

Grape's buttons got turned off pretty fast. Poor Grape. not the hunk you expected, huh? =P

He's pretty neat so far. His stripes aren't as whole as Res and are thicker and his expression sorta reminds me of a evil bigglesworth. Maxwell though got the black fur and the charm.

Ptah looks a bit like Res to me. Only wearing the "special hat." I wonder if that's the reason he's so conceded.

The King is stylish and has a completely fabulous hat.
Brute strength isn't everything, Ptah could be very nimble and quick.
