If my ears are hearing right (They should be, being a werewolf :) ), then that be the theme to Star Wars

Those expressions in the third panel fit each character's personality perfectly
And Ptah is looking as ridiculous as ever :D

I would post the Fred Sanford, but I like Star Wars too much. :P

Speaking of which, I haven't checked too much into the games, and Knights of the Old Republic seemed to have the same level of technology as the movies. Did their tech not improve in the thousands of years of history? Would it improve if it were in "todays" time?

Though that does allow credibility to Vader, Yoda, and Starkiller to be in Soul Calibur.
Gbr23 wrote:Peanut just ... dont tell the prequels
What about the Clone Wars?

Clone Wars is acceptable, Rebels is a bit risky though... :P

Grape's got the right idea. this guy's a jerk, and she could probably get away, but free food is free food.

It should be all right, as long as he doesn't start with 'Phantom Menace'...

Or could this be the occasion for some SPOT (Superdog) SAVES THE PHANTOM MENACE?

Sabrina's smitten by the feast;
Max is bitten by jealousy's beast,
Tarot's not fazed in the least;
Satau knows the wheel to be greased.
Talking fast, with a flustered Grape
wondering how she'll get out of this scrape
biding her time, possibly to escape,
hoping a plan will soon take shape.
A gift is offered, a war recounted
a tale of heroes and villains unsurmounted;
a tale of peril with holes unaccounted.
If it fails, their heads might be mounted...

Val, with the exception of disintegrating every copy of the film and refilming as a Darth Maul workout tape, NOTHING can save Phantom Menace

Oh, Tarot, you're so adorable being embarrassed on Peanut's behalf.

Because heaven knows he's got no sense of shame. (But we love him for it.)

That's probably mind-blowing for people who haven't heard those stories! Or the stories that lead to the genre in the first place. Or Shakespeare.

Oh. Ohh! Ohhh! I just realized: Satau and Ptah should TOTALLY end up roleplaying this with their dragon-induced powers!!!

Prior to Disney declaring the expanded universe non-canon, it was implied that most of the new tech from that time gap is 'under the hood' improvements. Power efficiency, portability, adaptability, etc. also many have speculated that dependence on the force, something that can not be improved through invention, may have severely slowed development.

"Now this tale I SO GRAND that it has been split into seven parts, but I'm gonna go through parts 4-6 because the first three are lame and the seventh one hasn't been finished yet..."

Awww cheer up Tarot, at least Peanut could buy you time to figure out how to get out of this mess. ^^

Somehow I now just wait for Kitsune to somehow appear to just put a bit more fun in it and to make Tarot totally loose her calm.

Only good thing about Phantom Menace was Darth Maul. Don't kid yourselves. =P

Max is clearly jealous. But I think it's not just because Grape is sitting next to Ptah. He's usually the party host at home for cats!

Holy moly, Sabrina, that is a mischievious grin. What are you thinking? Food? Party? ...Mingling with time? :3

I love to imagine Tarot saying "But I wanted to tell them about Star Trek! To boldly go where no dog has gone before!"

Star Wars is Heroic Fantasy, not Science Fiction. This is like asking why the obviously mechanically inclined dwarves and men never kicked off an industrial revolution in Lord of the Rings.

(Not that that isn't a good question)
gamepopper wrote:"Now this tale I SO GRAND that it has been split into seven nine parts, but I'm gonna go through parts 4-6 because the first three are lame and the seventh one hasn't been finished yet..."
Fixed that. Yep, not long after Star Wars release, Lucas was already saying he had nine movies all planned out. Hence:

Peanut just loves his stories, doesn't he? I think he's singing the star wars theme song? But it would be cool hearing his story though.

Sabrina is much cute, Fido is a lucky pup. I'm assuming that Satau's artifact is his necklace of golden teeth, if Ptah's is that funny hat. I was going to guess the teeth or the cuffs at first but now I see Grape and probably others also wearing them so I'm gonna guess not.

Cool, the party already begins, and how much bounty Nile river was. :D Oh, Satau is attempting to sneak in with the story of the guests... Good strategy to break the peace, successively. ;) Eheh, Sabrina is always cute with that innocent attitude. :D Must agree your pose, for this time, Maxwell. ;) Ok, let's find a gift for Ptah... Give him the lantern? Better not, indeed. The 3DS??? Nuuu!!! :o Also if its battery is dead, it's not in conditions to be thrown away. :P Ah, good that Peanut found the solution: his bizarre stories. :D Talk also about about your superhero. Go, pup! :P

Yeah, but Abrams' 7th isn't Lucas' 7th, and the following ones won't be Lucas' 8th or 9th, either. They were written, but since he's given up control over the following stories, it might as well be a new story past Return of the Jedi.

I don't think Satau has an artifact per se - Satau's prize for winning their duel over Dragon's temple was that he became her avatar - Ptah's hat (or other artifact he might have) was a consolation prize from Dragon.

badada daaaahhhhh

I heard it was actually Luke Skywalker's theme before it became so iconic that it got associated with the whole series.

At least it's the main character whose theme got co-opted. Unlike Hedwig's the Harry Potter theme.
