Housepets!

Hey everyone!

This is a post just to let you all know about what's going on. In about a week, I will be going to basic training for the United States Coast Guard.

I am going to spend two months in basic, during which I will have zero access to the internet, and only limited access to my phone in the final two weeks (And that's only a maybe). As such, I cannot continue as a mod on the forums for this period in time.

In my absence, Hlaoroo will be filling in for me.

I will be back once I'm done, so don't celebrate too hard. I'm going to miss the forum while I'm gone, but I guess on the bright side, I'll have two months of unread comics to catch up on.

Not quite. In the United States, the Coast Guard guards... well, our coast. For the most part, we tend to stay close to our shore. Shallow water sailors as we're known. Because we're so small compared to the other branches, everyone tends to know how to do everyone else's job just in case, but we're not really a jack-of-all-trades.

You're cool and will be missed. Stay safe.

As of now, you won't see much of me. For the next 20 hours or so, I'll be able to check in from my phone, and probably will, but after that you won't hear from me for the next 5 or so weeks at least. And only on occasion after that until I finish.

BASIC training is designed to test you, not break you! So remember it's a details game, and you'll make it just fine. Cheers, and I wish you all the best for the next two months! We'll keep praying for you - Be sure to store up those stories so that you can tell us all about it when you graduate from BASIC.
