Title Text: you could say I'm . . . drawn to them

Latin is always applicable to the situation.

Is it just me or has there been some subtle improvement in Rick's art since 5000 B.C. ended? :)

Soon to come, it seems,
Is the evolution of Spot;
Peanut seeks a teacher
And Joey’s the best he’s got.
The creator of Regular Hawk
Sees set to help his friend
But tutoring the Peanut
Can put you round the bend.
He’ll learn, slow but sure.
He’ll be distracted like before.
He has the butterfly’s’ gift,
No patience; wing’s lift.

A comic about Joey teaching Peanut how to draw comics?

...Yes.

don't be so quick to judge, joey. If every panel evidences the lesson, he will have actually done a dozen times as much homework as you assigned!

Joey teaching peanut how to draw things. I can already tell it's going to be the creepiest things ever.

It might be the color. Rick has stated on Twitter around early December (or late November) that he was going to change his coloring method. He appears to be happy with the results, so far.

That may be it. The backgrounds seem smother and more natural.

This is going to be a very nice arc. :) Good, Joey gives art lessons, with patience included, in exchange of money. ;) Poor Peanut, he just wants to do the funny things. :P But maybe, he already knows some drawing fundamentals, because he's not that much bad in doing basic draws. ;) Looking ahead for what's coming. :D

Well I see that Joey has been hanging around his brother/cousin a bit too much. Bino would be proud.

Rick definetly has gotten better on art, or maybe he just found the right aesthetic for the comic? idk

Btw doesn't joey seem a little smaller than how he was? or is it just me that thought he was taller? idk, his ears are also incredibly more fluffy too :- D

Nah, he's always been pretty short. https://www.housepetscomic.com/2014/07/ ... oportions/

He's only a bit taller than the ferrets, https://www.housepetscomic.com/2009/07/ ... y-the-foo/

I wonder if we'll see another Spot vs. Regular Hawk in this arc. That would be hilarious.

On average, cats in Housepets! are depicted about one head length shorter than dogs; Joey is usually drawn a head length shorter than cats.

And now we have another reason why Bino disdains him. He's shorter than a cat.

So I guess this means we won't be getting an afterward of some sort from Peanut, Grape, nor Maxwell from the 5000 B.C. arc? Bummer, this probably means they forgot about it completely and just dismissed it as a dream.

After Gallifrax Protocol I don't think they have any problem accepting that these things are real ;)
