Honesty and direct action for the win
as Jess turns to the trouble outside.
Standing by her problem and pride
she lets the negotiations begin.
Acknowledging that she has no right
she lets the officers take both barrels
then, realizing she faces no quarrels,
she concedes the round in the fight.
They're not here for evil intent
these representatives of the man;
she'll now discover Fox's plan
and, maybe, her fury will relent.

I thought about changing my signature but decided against it, it's too much work!

Really giving animals (at least wild one) no real rights makes them even more dangerous than normal as they have no real recourse against anything done to them; outside of attacking.

Wait...Jessica went out expecting people from animal control and wasn't surprised seeing two dogs...does that mean there are animals working for animal control?

Ferals have no rights? Now we know why Sasha went to see Keene Milton.

Cool design for a door.
A circle in the wall with a handle on it. Neat!

Oh thanks, I totally forgot about it... and just now I see that the plate of the car reads "animal control"Obbl wrote:I refer you hereHundKatzeMaus wrote:Wait...Jessica went out expecting people from animal control and wasn't surprised seeing two dogs...does that mean there are animals working for animal control?
I think the truth is a bit more complicated than that.Welsh Halfwit wrote:Ferals have no rights? Now we know why Sasha went to see Keene Milton.

The eternal problem with extra-legal justice systems. As seen in Godfather Part Them All and every other crime movie.IceKitsune wrote:Really giving animals (at least wild one) no real rights makes them even more dangerous than normal as they have no real recourse against anything done to them; outside of attacking.
Luckily the animals in HP! seem a lot more sensible than humans in our world.

Eheh, I always loved Jessica's attitude: she cares only for herself, ever after what she experienced with Custom Ink and her son. But well, she's right, since that's definitely her home. And, you say to have no rights as feral animal, so, what do you fear, Jessica? Oh, so the thing isn't over, yet... You won a battle, but not the war! Come on Fox, just say that you need to talk with Custom Ink.

Possibly but it's the link we've been needing. If ferals have no rights and Keene was going for equal rights then it makes sense she'd go to see him. We now have a reason that's better than 'she went to try and kill him' and isn't that what they've been looking for? (As well as Sasha, of course)HundKatzeMaus wrote:I think the truth is a bit more complicated than that.Welsh Halfwit wrote:Ferals have no rights? Now we know why Sasha went to see Keene Milton.
