Ice flailing sounds like fun.

Zach is so relatable in this strip. I can't ice skate AT ALL. I was like the only kid in my class who didn't ice skate.

Is it Kari or Jess that give the ER discount, I can see arguments for either one.

Eheh, nice way to open the new year with the adorable puns fox. Actually, Karishad is right, it's enough look at Zack. Anyway, I'm sure Jessica isn't the kind for such things, it's useless to ask. Oh, that's a great deal about the vet, which is better to avoid to use.

Happy New Year everyone. Any one else have trouble knowing exactly what color Zach’s fur is supposed to be? It was pink for a while, then lavender, but now that it’s just grey I’m wondering if my eyes were playing lighting tricks on me.

He's not so light on his feet now, is he?

Also dang is Karishad a bright orange in this strip. Suitable as he is a beam of radiance for all that see him.

Well, the art-style changed over time so did the colors, but I don't remember it being pink.

When you compare with the first strip of Flip that Den you can see that Jess' colors are brighter aswell. If it was intentional, it was because the snow reflects a part of the sunlight and makes everything brighter.

Zach is gray with a hint of lavender. The seemingly shifting colors are partially due to art shifi over the years, and partially Rick actually bothering to adjust the color palette to suit different lighting conditions.

He seemed pretty pink in the first few strips...

I guess you could call that "lavender" but I think of lavender as more a light purple.

True, but isn’t it snowing in that strip too?

He's definitely lavender in Flip that Den.

Zach is gray.

Happened to me too over last eight years ... grey, that is. Hair. What's left of it.

Anybody else bummed out that this Strip wasn't New Year's themed? Or, are these one-offs just happening simultaneously with the current story?
