Sure they're still stuck in Hell, the Forgotten is breaking through the portal, and Keene is contractually obligated to bring a potential eldritch abomination to Earth, but somehow that one panel of Keene and Breel effectively becoming official makes everything seem better.

Breel's still dead though, so how they could make this work remains an open question.

I wonder how the demon going to earth is going to play out also I love his reaction

Been brought up multiple times here on the forums after Rick confirmed it on the thread where Breel was first introduced, and he was referred to with male pronouns when Keene was first talking to Eudoant.

I don't see Breel coming back alive after heaven already let him live a full life on Earth, plus it seems like a cop-out. I'll be satisfied if Keene and Breel just part ways on good terms when the arc is over.

maybe a timeshare. he stays in heaven for a month of the year then works for the rest of it.

Breel being assigned as Keene's guardian angel seems like the best way for them to remain together. We've certainly established that Keene really needs protection by someone he can trust implicitly.

Maybe Kitsune could actually do something useful and pull some strings once the current situation is resolved...
