After Res Seals it, the next few panels will be about Keene attempting to carry Res and his tremendous size... :lol:

Does Res even know how to seal it?

So apparently Breel has put up no protest to bringing the little demon along.

No, but Tarot does.

Also, I'm surprised it took Eudoant long enough to notice Keene has escaped their grasp.

Oh hey, it's a Demon army, in close enough proximity to charge through the portal with deadly weapons and malicious intent to those in their direct vicinity. Why does this sound so familiar? I vaguely remember hearing it from a little birdy of a colder shade. AAAAAH it's probably nothing. :P

Quick Res, get out of the Ozaru form and use the Mafuba!
... I mean, seal the portal!

I have a strange feeling we might see those demons again in the future, plotting revenge against the ferret.

My assumption is once there is no longer impending doom Spring, Summer, and Rufus will be able to safely siphon the remaining mana out of Res returning him to normal size. My theory for why Res was successful when he jumped in the mana despite Tarot saying anything your thinking could become reality because the celestials standing in the pool directed the effect of the mana.

Why did Keene bring it along? I know he made a deal, but it's a demon for Throne's sake! Making some effort to wease- er, ferret you're way out of it is sorta considered obligatory. Especially when it's as easy as simply leaving the little guy behind.

It is my sincere hope that Not-Breel is just like, a dinosaur that's been in Pandemonium for millennia. If not, I'm still okay with lil demon shenanigans.

On a less serious note, I just noticed that one demon there with the poison cleaver is wearing a loin cloth while none of the others ever seem to wear anything, and that makes him a bit of an intriguing outlier. What's his story? Is he self-conscious? Did he decide that, despite being a Hell-demon, he should still be decent even if nobody else is?

I'm more curious about the demon to the right of Eudoant. Rick has said in the HP universe only pawed mammals are bipedal [citation needed], but that demon looks much more reptilian.

Edit: I found the citation

We've seen bipedal ungulates in Heaven. That rule seems to be more relaxed in the afterlife.

And in the case of demons their physical appearance and attributes don't appear to even be consistent (have any two that we've seen so far ever looked alike?), never mind bound by the laws of the mortal world.

Eudont believe forgiveness is in his nature,
it’s more like he won’t flog you any more.
He’ll just put you up for more indenture;
challenging you and working you until sore.
Ignore the gigantic Tiger fighting the thing
and call out to the Tarot who isn’t there;
you know that, despite her curses and moods,
she just has to have remained right there.
A giant evil in front and giant weapons behind
it really wasn’t a choice that needed to be made;
charge back to the land of the living, Keene,
with the Demon who’s rendered you played...

There was the chimera that reset the "days since last shocking revelation" sign, but that was a half mammal mythical creature like Pete. There was the T-rex in the background of the first view of heaven, but that was walking like T-rexs normally do and its body wasn't anthropomorphized. Are there any I'm missing?

Panel 3 There's a Ram and an Ibex (I think), and possibly a llama, Panel 1 Another (or the same) Ibex. That's it I think.

Celestial beings do not have the same rules as mortals do. They also have access to different universes and dimensions, one of which is Galafrax where there aren't any walking and talking animals. Any resident of heaven or hell can either just be A: A mythical creature/celestial originating from the immortal world, B: a good/bad creature from another dimension, or C (in the case of heaven): the being is choosing to be seen in that form, like how King chose to be taller and Fox chose to be buffer.

I'd imagine some animals from Dimension Prime who couldn't stand in their mortal life or were tiny, would like to stand/be bigger in heaven. This of course would not apply in hell unless you are a resident, and even that we've never seen. That's just based on the Cosmic Nerds and the angels.

Well, I think I have to breach my 'no questions' setting and ask:

How was the Forgotten even able to grab Breel with his arms restrained? They were covered with cloth in his first appereance and now it is even clearer visible.

and about the loin cloth: Jata was wearing pants too. I think it's just about the personal preference

his hands are free, he just leaned down so his hand (and chest since it is bound close to him) were near the ground

Now they're back in the temple, does Breen's halo count as a hat ?
Should be some serious power there.

I just signed up and the captcha told me to look for a "story arcs" menu,
but it was labeled "chapters". A little bit confusing, but all's well.

To hell (no pun intended) with that contract! The Demon said he loves torture! Leave him there!
Who knows what he could do on Earth... :?

Be tortured, presumably? Maybe he'll open the "Neel Demon S&M Parlor." ...Patent pending. <w<

So now, nothing prevents him from sending the Demon back to hell! :mrgreen:

That's a little cruel, wouldn't you say? Yes, he's a demon and yes he acts oddly, but he's literally done nothing but HELP Keene the entire time. Look at it this way: if the Celestial Nerds are anything to go off of, beings residing Heaven in this universe aren't necessarily all good, so He- err... Pandemonium's occupants aren't necessarily all evil, either.

Yes, the demon is a bit weird and yes, it's possible that he could betray Keene, but no one knows his full story or why he's even there. For all we know he could have just been BORN there. We've established that the people in these places aren't just people who have died, but also demigods and supernatural beings.

There's something to be said for not judging a book by its cover, dood. Unless the demon does something to honestly show he doesn't deserve a chance, then I say 100% that he does. And not just because I love the character (though I clearly do). Because if Keene turns around and betrays someone that has only been a friend to him simply because that friend MIGHT betray him or put others in danger, then the true betrayer becomes Keene himself, not the demon.

Which will come as a massive surprise to Keene as she was definitely there when he went in and plainly wasn't going to leave.
