Wait, Kari lived at the temple? What's the story behind that?

Well, they say A Fox’s Home Is His Temple. Granted, before this I assumed he lived in Milton Manor.

Okay, I’m seen that everybody is only realizing until now that Kari was living there.

Me too. I had no idea.

A glorious end is so sad for one;
now we know where he lived it’s gone.
The one who’s lost is known for fun;
even though the game’s over, life goes on.
Does Jess know what she’s in for now
in the house that the Fox here built?
Does she know the chaos he’ll allow
and how he’ll do it all without guilt?
Jess has livened her households’ life,
and possibly endangered all in the pad,
by raising up her and Cory’s strife
and giving refuge to the lovely Karishad.

A sad fox is never a good thing.
But a happy fox is a good thing!

Strictly speaking he made Jess' guest bed so it's only right he gets to lie in it.

The story of Spider-Jess is the opposite of Spider-Man

In Spider-Man, the Spider bites him.

In Spider-Jess, she bites the spider.

Seeing Kari mope just feels wrong somehow. It'd be like seeing Tigger run out of bounciness.

I don’t think he ever did at any point though. Ever since Keene hired him he put him in the temple.

And I agree that there should never be a sad Karishad. Angry Karishad perhaps (albeit usually as a façade), but seeing a sad expression on him just shatters my heart! :(

Yeh, Sad Kari is like ... something's fundamentally broken in the universe.

What's Jessica got in her hand in the second frame?

Also, I know Karishad had been getting into the temple regular like, but it's kind of out of the blue that he'd been living there.

Knowing Karishad, Keene probably offered to let the fox stay on his property and Kari just preferred the temple.

Oh no Kari's sad. It's adorable
Wait he lived there??? How? I understand he goes in there on a daily basis but how does LIVE there without having a problem with any dangers? Especially since he doesn't have any powers. What, is the answer to every challenge he faces he just has ask "do you like Cornhole?"
At the same time it makes sense he lives there and not in the Milton's mansion. If he did live there, there'd be mass destruction at every turn. However, any damage done in the temple isn't permanent. Only temporary. Espescially since the layout of the temple changes.
Also where'd Jess cone from. And what is she eating?

Never thought I'd see Kari with a hang-dog expression. It's sad and mildly disturbing for sure, but it does provide a bit more depth to his character... we see that he's not just the ever-playful master of mischief and puns. Nicely done, Rick.

In order for Vanice.

Where else would a spirit of chaos live other than in a Chaotic temple?

She came from the woods that are usually behind the temple

A Spider. Because they're food.

I like to imagine him just waking up curled on the ground, walking slouchedly past a dozen Indiana Jones booby traps to his coffee machine plugged into a power generator.

I think it makes a certain cosmic sense that the destroyed temple of chaos would fall into a neatly ordered pile.

It's almost guarunteed that there will be arc or one offs involving Kari and the other forest animals. Notice I said almost, I am not Rick Griffin, so I don't know 100%

The temple was Karishad's home? With all the space Keene has, he lived there? :? Sad fox is sad. :( But, maybe it was his choice, who knows. :P I think Keene can't be able to force this fox to do everything he wants, and previous examples showed this fact. ;) That's so good of you, you're becoming nicer and nicer, Jessica. :D
