Why are they undercover anyway. All they’re supposed to do is find Keene and slap him with a huge fine. I don’t know much about the “law” but do they need to do that in person? What do they think he’s going to do, slip out the window and make a break for it? Or maybe my personal favorite, ‘plosion!”

Kicking Bino is always an excellent way to start anything.

Though if Fido isn't careful Sabrina will be pulling him away to investigate the nearest closet.

They're all clearly making the right choice. Having some extra sets of hands would make their job a lot easier.

I just wanna say thank you, Rick, for not overly emphasizing Sasha's chest (the reference to the fluff was a very tasteful way to do it, I think) and not showing them from the waist down. It actually helps me feel a bit less awkward.

Do you think Kevin is still in Fido’s arms in that first panel?

Also anyone wonder what Bino did to get kicked out of the onset, you know besides being Bino?

Following the ancient and honorable comic tradition, I assume Kevin was promptly dropped flat on his fanny the moment Sasha was - um - "recognized".

And already I can see that Mungo and Ralph probably will be the only serious ones (at least for now) but slowly they will get worn down and show they are not so above it all. I predict it will happen to Mungo soon.

Oh and Keene weasels out of this one and Ralph loses. UNLESS Breel convinces him to accept responsibility as being a better pet.

But what about Mungo?

I'm sure Mungo is at least for now gonna stick to being no nonsense.

These close-ups of Fox and Fido are really showing off how jacked they are. It's...almost...

Sasha's chest looks more accentuated in this strip, but there's a comparable amount of fluff to what she's had since housepets 3.0 rolled out (for comparison).

I mean, I’m not against Rick pairing them up with someone, but I think Mungo being shy about his birthday suit might imply he’s gonna be the crushee rather than the crusher... either that or he’ll be a literal crusher as if the spa gets destroyed, Mungo probably is gonna be the accidental cause

So a quick theory here: Sasha and Sabrina hinted that alot of people are already here. Wonder if Peanut and Grape are already there? What about Max and Tarot? is Tarot the spa type? is Grape going to be shy about going into one? SO MANY QUESTIONS! :O

Does she know what kind of effect she has on Fox or not?
Somehow this strip let's me think she does know

I’m of the mindset they all know that what Keene is doing is kinda illegal, so the police have to be on there way, so the girls are doing what they can to delay the cops from busting Keene. How they plan to keep Mungo from looking if that’s the case though is anyone’s guess

It's a commercial parking violation on a residential street. That's going to be under $100, and typically not enforced unless it's posted, there are complaints, or it's over 30 days. Source: I live on a street trucks used to use for overnight parking before they posted it.

Considering they pretty likely are a descendant of Satau, there’s a reason for that gag. Personally, I find it funnier that Res is one of Grape’s few crushes that lingered when he’s suggested to be Ptah’s descendant, who is one of the few characters Grape explicitly didn’t like at all... well unless we count cover art but that’s very weak canon if it is canon

Hopefully the next strip will show who is and isn’t at the spa. They Walk into the onset room and see everyone lounging and/or soaking.

I’m sure Mungo is just off screen but I do wonder what happened to him. There’s a running joke in my family that if you aren’t in the holiday family photo it’s means you’re dead. I can’t help thinking that’s what happened here.

To be fair, that would be like not liking someone just because they're descended from Genghis Khan (which apparently a full 1% of the human population is). It's not like Mungo and Res are Satau and Ptah reincarnated. Character is not genetic.

Don't know, Hund, but I'd like to think there's a part of Sasha's heart that's still reserved for Fox. And as for our husky friend, well, the blush don't lie (although, in Fox's case, that criteria could also suggest a previously subconscious attraction to Sabrina as well).
