I think Sasha is going to break King if this keeps up much longer.

Ah, the internal struggle arc. This is going to be fun watching King torture himself for a while.

One of the books is going to be titled “Housepets! Cuddle Your Butt” isn’t it... XD

The nightmare keeps young King awake
through all the long hours of the night;
it’s difficult to imagine
anyone else feeling this plight.
He’s been called ‘snugglebutt’ before
but never been taken for Kevin.
With the discussion in his head
that’s why fears are to eleven?
Which side is arguing right here?
Which is Human and which Canine?
Wouldn’t it be something here if
the Human side proclaimed ‘it’s fine?’

Either King will get for Sasha a teddy bear or he won't get much sleep in the next few weeks/months. Poor guy will be all grumpy

I'm still trying to figure out why Sasha couldn't just stay with Kevin for this. After everything he was doing for her, what purpose does having her stay with someone else serve?

You know, other than taking years off of King's life from the stress.

They question this near the beginning of the arc. One Kevin didn't think of it and Two Lana wanted King to do it instead of paying rent.

Well the three reasons I could think of are:
1) Sasha has some strange habit which makes it hard to live with her
2) He is planning something
3) Legal reasons, since it's thanks to the ECP that Sasha is now emancipated (I guess, it would make sense if the programm was to get pets away from abusive owners) she still has to be integrated into after the rules of the ECP. One of them could be that Sasha has to live in a house/apartmen/etc. approved by the ECP.
4) Yeah, okay I said I just had three ideas, but the fourth one could just be: He didn't thought about it.

I have to say, I'm enjoying this kind of inner dialogue dynamic thing going on. Still think it's a Joel vs King thing and its becoming more clear that the bold text is the Joel part. Looking back at the bath scene and this one its looking like that's it.

Judging from the progression of facial expressions, I think we've moving past "embarrassed" to plain annoyed and jaded. This isn't surprising. Sasha is definitely one of those things you enjoy at a distance but after spending too much time in close proximity you realize that the magic or whatever you were feeling has worn off. If that is the case, then we can definitely wrap this up by Fri with a no harm no foul.

You would think knowing she’s dreaming about snuggling with her boyfriend would be a buzzkill...

I was just pretty sure that King was gonna end up in a cuddle sandwich before this arc was over.

I had a thought early on that he might be stashing her from her former owner. He would go looking for her at Kevin's. He might not even approach The Wolf house even if he knows she's there.

Of course, the problem with this theory is he could easily have told King. But I'm just as idea raccoon.

King seems about ready to implode,
Makes sense, seeing the line he's toed.
His conscience hasn't left him alone,
And so he lies in bed to groan.

Is it Sasha's attention that's his fear,
Or the fact she's hugging his rear?
So what's next, a shower?
Makes sense if can fight the urge to cower.

Is Joel that other voice in his head?
A voice, like Pete's, that fills him with dread?
Looks like it is, and it says King's wrong
To have let his attraction to Sasha grow this strong.

If that's the reason I could imagine Kevin didn't told King that either because he knows how quickly King tends to panic and didn't wanted to stress him or Kevin isn't sure if Sasha's owner would even care about it, since the owner seems to not really caring about what happens to Sasha.

It's impossible to deny how cute Sasha is.

I kinda want and kinda don't want to know exactly what Sasha is doing to his tail.

What I think would be absolutely hilarious would be if King looks at her and says, "I'm not Kevin." Then she wakes up, realizes how close her...everything...is to King, and then gets embarrassed and backs off while apologizing. Then we see a thought bubble above Bailey, saying, "I knew it!"

Okay, King isn't able to fall asleep with she next to him... Cuddles in bed should be the best form of them, so, it's okay. Eheh, funny example there, Sasha. It makes me remember of a video where a corgi plays with a doorstopper. Good you're dreaming of your boyfriend Kevin, at least. A cold shower? No, King, you need a sleeping pill, instead...

Here’s how I think the next strip will go.
Panel one: King arguing with himself some more.
Panel two: Sasha, still asleep (or half asleep) licks the side of King’s face.
Panel three: Beat panel
Panel four: someone else in the wolf house looking confused and asking “Who’s running the shower this time of night?”

And I reiterate: King is heckin' adorable in this state.

Sleeping on the couch sounds like a good idea, until you realize Sasha could (and likely would) just follow him! Same for going to Fox's house.

But if he goes to Fox's house, Sasha may not follow, based on how that last one ended.

Or she might. And it might be a good thing for King.

That’s a good point, and I wonder why they didn’t bring a bed over with her. Her old bed (assuming she had one) might’ve been Hartford’s property, but they could’ve bought her a new one. Maybe King can discuss the sleeping arrangements with the wolf pack tomorrow, assuming he doesn’t worry himself sick tonight.

Either they couldn't get a bed that fast or it's because they don't have enough space. King already mentioned how tight the space in the wolves house is. Also it's still her first night in the wolves house, so maybe this is just temporary and they want to talk about it the next day.
I still can imagine Sasha just crawled into the bed joining King and Bailey, because she wants to be close to someone she knows, but that's probably just me.

Also, poor little guy- Even after the cosmic game he feels small and overwhelmed. In a different context however.

This is probably somewhat unrelated, but does anyone have Valentine's predictions for this year? I didn't really know where else to post this question- I know Marion and Lois are basically guaranteed, but that leaves the last two up to chance. Marvin? Cory? Lester? Poncho? Maybe even Steward?

He wasn't bothered when he walked in on Sasha in an awkward situation with Fox, I doubt he'd have an worse a reaction with King.

Either Kevin is completely oblivious to Sasha obliviously flirting with King and also with Fox or he is so secure in their relationship that it just doesn't bother him.

It is probably the latter but I am hoping that it is the former.
