Well, this is both a beautiful page and a possibility terrifying turn of events. Wonder if Trinket is ready to peace out .. wonder if Steward is getting there.

The enemies of Keene unite
in the railway office of the night.
Evil stands together for now
to steal the world, that’s their vow.
Steward’s in it above his ears;
hate led him to embrace his fears.
What he’ll do is now the case,
to save the world or just save face?
Evil struts through the portal,
from the eternal plain to the mortal;
Euodant here has entered the game;
the world to burn, the Gardens in flame.

If Steward doesn't get his comeuppance at the end of this arc after HELPING SUMMON A POWERFUL DEMON TO THE MATERIAL PLANE BECAUSE HE'S MAD AT HIS OLD BOSS FOR RIGHTFULLY FIRING HIM, I'm going to be annoyed.

Either Steward gets dragged to Hell or Marion and Lois end up going a moral high ground and save him somehow.

Ah, green eyes ... Cue the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra!

So i'm guessing he's definitely going to go after Keene, then. hmm...

Like the entrance of the Doom Marauder in Doom Eternal (which makes me think we WILL see the Housepets version of the DoomSlayer)?

For me, I hear the Terminator 2 theme for the 2nd panel.

For me, I hear the Terminator 2 theme for the 2nd panel.

Exactly like the Marauder scene. I mean I still have to get to this scene in the game itself, but from the trailers, it just looked so impressive :]

Yah gotta admit, the demon-deer knows how to make a Grand Entrance. This also seems to answer one of my long-standing questions: Do Internals come to earth the same as Celestials? (Answer: apparently not.) On the other hand, as yet unanswered is the question: How are deceased mortals conveyed to Pandemonium?

But THAT question may be answered SOON !

And the papers portal worked! Oh, Eudoant doesn't look happy to be disturbed in that way... It's definitely happening a weird thing, so I agree with you, Steward, it's better stand aside. Looking ahead to what's going to happen now...

I was looking at Eudoant walking through the portal, and then went back to check all the other instances of Eudoant, and was just curious, as sometimes it's a bit hard to tell with the body types of animal types. Is Eudoant a man, or a woman?

I was just noticing the hips, and how the legs were of Eudoant walking through the portal, and how the arms were, the look of the face, and the body tone in general, of the walk, and it just hit me I wasn't certain. Originally I presumed it was a man, but looking back at the older drawings, with the new thought, I am now uncertain.

There’s a reason why we have a user who believe Eudoant is female.

However, I’ve been told from people who watch Rick’s comic streams that Eudoant was revealed to be non-binary.

But from that one image of the way they walked through the portal, I personally believe they think of themselves in the feminine aspect, even if physically they are of both, or not either... not certain how celestials/demons perceive themselves in this manner. Plus, it was shown earlier that Eudoant felt comfortable, and likes using Keene as a teddy bear to sleep at night, with. That they might even have feelings for Keene, as they promised not to hurt him, and all would be forgiven, if he returned to them.

Back in the Dark Ages (about two or three years ago) when I took an Ed-Psych series, the instructor mentioned what he called a "blick". A blick is an error of fact that you seem to be unable to "unlearn". For example, you know someone named "Carol" but you've somehow gotten it fixed in your mind that her name is "Carla". Moreover, you frequently address her as "Carla" even though you've gotten to know Carol pretty well. It's become ingrained to the point where you may stop using her name, wait until someone else uses it first, or implant a little voice in your head that silently reminds you "This-is-Carol!".

Well, I've got a blick that Eudoant is female. I've been gently chided about this a few times, but I still forget, and I've taken to using various circuities in discussing "the demon-deer" because "the cervid of chaos" is one of my favorite minor characters.

Which is an extendedly spiraling digression to say folks here are pretty tolerant of each others foibles. So relax and enjoy, eh.

I have a follow up question now that we know that Eudoant is non-binary. Would it be offensive to call Eudoant an it since Eudoant is neither or he or a she? I think of how non-binary people want to be classified as and I realize I don't even know how THAT works.

They/them. Using “it” for a person can be seen as dehumanizing.

That is what I thought which is why I was asking about it.

From this moment forth, Eudoant will now forever be known in my posts as a "they/them"!

Looks like Eudoant is back for their pet/lover.

I think “living plush” works better.
